Mezzy Marv

I've heard a few songs by this dude, and so far, I kind of like his stuff. Has anybody else heard his stuff, and what album should I start with?

One of my all time favorite discs is Messy, Keak & PSD - Da Bidness. Muzik Fo Tha Taliban is really good as well. Mess has a lot of material, but if you like Da Bidness, hit me back & I'll put you up on more. SRP is a bigger fan then I am so he would be another to ask, but hes been MIA for a while.

I say check out "The Infrastructure" Bullys Wit Fullys which is Messy and Guce. I really like this album.

I would recommend Draped up and chipped out vol 1, 2 & 3. he has many good features on these and they are a good collection of his work... I'm prolly the most knowledgeable bout his work outta erry1 on here. Glad that the bay gettin some love here so any bay shit you wanna know about hit me up.

So many albums, So little time......

Yogi is usually on point with his recs, but personally I would either hit up "Disobayish" for a newer CD of his. My favorite though, overall, has to be Messy Situations. It has a remake of Children's Story on there that I bump more than the original and is an earlier, grittier Messy IMO.

I'd also recommend "Messy Slick" which is an album he did with Mitchy Slick. This one has very few if any tracks I skip when listening to it.

Co-sign that!! That is the best Mess album. That was straight grimy. It's too bad he doesn't rap like that anymore. I'm glad you pointed that out.

He does still drop grimey ass shit you must not have heard any of his more recent drops... Keep checking him out, that Messy Marv & Prince Bugsy - Guerilla Red is a dope colab.

To me, he is boring now man. Really slow flow nowadays. It's just not the same. Plus, he flowed better over that mobb sound the bay had back in the 90s. I would say that the last album I checked from him was Bandanas, Tattoos, and Tongue Rings. I think that was the name. Other than that, I don't really check for Mess anymore.

That one dropped quite a few years ago.... that mess & bugsy is pretty mobb... you should check it.
