yeah, I never go to stores except when I want some local texas shit or looking for used... new CDs are almost exclusively directly from the artist or online

I'm not really any sort of Quik fan... I listen to his music and mostly like it. For the most part I would say I could take it or leave it.

From that perspective I am saying that Book of David sounds pretty damn amazing after one listen. Quik really rips the mic on a few tracks, and the production is actually way better than I expected. For the record, I always do expect great production from him.

Really, the whole shit's dope. Bizzy does his thing, Jon B sounds like he was born on a Quik track. I'm going through the album again right now, and I know I'm going to be paying a lot of attention to it. Especially right now, the weather's about to break... just right.
