Jedi Mind Tricks-First album I heard was "VBD" and I dig it to this day. Love the production. Paz's voice gets old quick but I can deal with it.
"Murder"- UGK-I think i'm the only person on this board who doesn't love this track. The beat doesn't do much for me, I like other tracks on that album more than "Murder".
Eminem- Slim Shady LP-Thought it was a joke when Dre signed a nerdy white boy. Joke was on me, loved the album and became a big fan.
"Last Dayz"- Onyx-I don't even remember this very well. I'm not a huge Onyx fan so I'll have to revisit this.
Kendrick Lamar-Sleepin on this one.

Jedi Mind Tricks- never heard 1 song
UGK "Murder"- It wasn't "One Day" but the energy of this song is fuckin' great....one of my favs from "Ridin' Dirty"
Eminem "Slim Shady LP"- nice but I'll reach for Marshall Mathers LP & The Eminem Show before I reach for this
Onyx "Last Dayz"- I loved Bacdafucup and I thought it would be hard to top it....Boy was I wrong
Kendrick Lamar- Who?

Jedi Mind Tricks- Raw as fuck...dope as hell...Vinnie Paz is a beast...Stoupe is a genius behind the boards.
"Murder"- UGK- Classic
Eminem- Slim Shady LP- This dude is off the wall dope. He's gonna blow up.
"Last Dayz"- Onyx- Hey, that's the dude from Moesha!!! lol just playin'. My first reaction to "Last Dayz" is the song gritty...grimey...fuckin' dope.
Kendrick Lamar- When does his album drop? None of this mixtape bs.

Never listened to Jedi Mind Tricks.
Murder is classic! Easily my favorite UGK song. The beat and the lyrics fit perfectly.
Slim Shady LP is a fuckin CLASSIC! Just like Taylor I thought it was a joke when Dre signed him, and I wasn't a big fan of My Name Is the first few times I heard it, but I love Guilty Concience and that song convinced me to buy the album. When I did I was completely blown away with how dope it was. I like the MMLP slightly more, but this is easily his 2nd best album. I disagree with Highsmith's take, this is easily better than The Eminem Show.
Next to Slam, Last Dayz is my favorite Onyx track. I fell in love with it immediately.
I've heard some guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, but never a solo track. He's pretty talented from what I heard on those guest spots though.

Jedi Mind Tricks- I got curious about them because they showed up in my realted albums section when viewing dead prez back around when they dropped. I saw the cover for Violent By Design and thought it was interesting. Got a copy of it from my cd man at the time and popped it in. I really liked it for that 1st half but after awhile something seemed boring. I noticed all the beats were on the same vibe and the rapper did not have much variation in his delivery. Needless to say the album kinda just got lost in cd book purgatory and I never felt the need to peep them again...lol.
"Murder"- UGK- I thought Bun B was about to takeover the rap game. I mean his verse just blew my mind and had me thinking he was about to be a new fav rapper of mine. That beat and the way Pimp starts it off is just perfection and screams classic. Of course with time Bun never became a high fav of mine but when I 1st heard this trk he was almost there.
Eminem- Slim Shady LP- I thought the single was corny, he was corny, and Dre was corny for signing him. I had pretty much refused to support something that lame. I had a cousin that kept trying to get me on the bandwagon of the album but I ignord him for a minute. Until one day he came to my house and pretty much made me listen to other trks off the album. I was still skeptical but I heard enough to warrent a purchase. Once I sat down and actually listened I was very impressed. I heard a rapper that can go in multiple directions with his rhymes. A rapper who had good comedic timing. And a good range of different beats, tempo's, and hooks.
"Last Dayz"- Onyx- Just like Murder I knew I was listening to perfection. And Sticky verse just stuck with me and he got higher rank on my GOAT list just off this song. The video was my 1st exposure to the song so the visual just added to the eerie but hard beat. If I remember right Sticky was standing on the ledge of a building and starts that legendary verse.
Kendrick Lamar - I saw a video on youtube for my intro to him after a rec from someone on the forum. Can't remember the name of the song but they were in route to do a drive by or something to that effect. Anyway I was impressed by him being a youngster from this gen and trying to show some substance in his music. So I went and downloaded OD and digged it.

Jedi Mind Tricks-The first time I heard them was their first album. I was not feeling it all. If they had brought up that hologram one mo 'gain??? VOG was okay to me. I like Legacy, VBD, and Servants. Still haven't heard their last two joints.
"Murder"- UGK-datz my SHIT!
Eminem- Slim Shady LP-better than I expected because I thought it was going to Hi Name is for an album or ICP-ish. Grew to love it with each spin. I was worried it was Vanilla Ice all over again. My roommate at the time encouraged me to give it a try. I still like it.
"Last Dayz"- Onyx-n/a

Lol yeah that is easily my favorite Onyx track.
Also, I may be in the minority but Psycho-Social is the best JMT album I've heard.
I love UGK's Murder, might be my favorite from Ridin' Dirty.
Finally, I was a bit late to the party with Em, I didn't get into him until the MMLP. When I heard SSLP it was nice because it wasn't too different from MMLP and I liked that a lot.

Jedi Mind Tricks... got into them barely a few years back... but loved them every since... First album I heard was Violent by Design... at the time I remember being annoyed about all the wack shit soldiers were playing in our motor pool... and I wanted to stir myself far away from mainstream crap... so I started digging around for new underground rappers to listen to... I was always a fan of Ill Bill's music... and all the different circles he works with... including DJ Muggs, Sick Jacken...(been a Jacken fan since Psycho Realm days)So... I would look up artist that were featured on his albums... Vinnie Paz was on that "A bullet never lies" track so from there... I got into the whole JMT... Army of Pharaohs and other related acts... that's how I get to learn about new artist... from paying attention to features... but yeah... bought that Violent By Design... after I downloaded it... then I downloaded other albums... and now after 3 years of being a fan... I think I'm missing only a few CDs... don't know... Yeah I know I was missing out... but fuck it... it's hard to keep up with shit... haha...
"Murder"- UGK... always loved the rhythm of this track... haven't heard it in years... All I remember was my boyfriend at the time... being annoyed with this style of hip hop... He only liked to listen to NWA... so if I played any type of non-California artists... he'd have A shit fit... fuck him... I bet he rocks to Soulja Boy now a days...
Slim Shady LP... Well let me tell U something... It was different from anything I was bumping at the time... especially since it's was over a decade since I listened to any white rappers... last dudes I used to bump were the Beastie Boys... Anyways... everyone in my surrounding was going crazy for this guy... probably because his affiliation with Dre... I thought the album was tight... but I didn't go overboard and jocking like my fam... Song that I liked the most was "Guilty Conscious"... although I was upset that that 'these voices' remix wasn't on the LP... anyways... haven't heard the album in a good while...
"Last Dayz"- Onyx... Ill shit... I'm a huge fan of that grimy East Coast sound... This track in particular is so smooth... always loved the sample... shit like this is something That I can enjoy all by myself... because most of the fam wasn't bumping this type of rap... Motherfuckers were anticipating that Dogg Food album... anyways... the video was so dope... Sticky Fingers... crazy eyes and all... sexy as hell...
Kendrick Lamar... Just starting fucking with dudes music like 2 weeks ago... all I know is I was referring to something with a "Fuck that" attitude... and first voice that came to mind was Lamar's voice on that "A.D.H.D" track... "Fuck that"... so now I mimic the way he says fuck that... every time I don't agree with something... haha...

Co-sign this. Actually, All We Got Iz Us has made it's way into my top 25 or so. It's most definitely top 50 at the very least. It's one of the most unique albums in the fact that their is so much style and uniqueness too it, but it doesn't sacrifice an ounce of lyrical integrity. Sticky is at the top of his game here.

"Murder"- UGK First impression on this one was Bun B was great on the mic, with Pimp C not too far behind. The beat is tight as hell also, and the song certainly didn't need no hook.
Eminem- Slim Shady LP I can't honestly say I thought Em was become a force in hip hop after hearing this album. It was clear to me he was going to stick around and he wasn't going to be a one hit wonder.
"Last Dayz"- Onyx Traditional Onyx for this one.

You know I'm fair and balanced like Fox News.
Just got through bumping Last Dayz. The beat was that East Coast grimey flavor. You feel like you're creeping through the streets of NY at night. I feel the front end of the track is the strongest. Fredro had a consistent breakdown. I feel Sonsee's verse was stronger on the back end. Sticky wrapped it up but still Fredro held the top spot this go around. This track had a real focused feel to it. I'll have to hear the rest of the album to get a complete overlay of it. It definitely represents that nihilistic 90's state of mind.

Jof the most important, consistent, and best groups in underground hip hop. An amazing producer, a dope hardocre rapper, and then Jus Allah (who IMO gave one of the best mic performances ever on VBD). VBD - among my top 20 easily.
"Murder"- UGK - classic in every sense, Pimp C's verse to start it is a staple in hip hop
Eminem- Slim Shady LP - classic, easily Em's best, top 10 album, raw, too bad this person is gone
"Last Dayz"- Onyx - legendary
Kendrick Lamar - n/a really--has a unique voice, havent listened enough though
