I know i could go to Amazon and track down some opinions from past discussions and some reviews, but i was hoping some people could drop their thoughts on Blu's work aside from BTH.

Below The Heavens is all u need. (i see u Parker)
But on the real I have only heard Johnson & Johnson and Her Favorite Colour. Don't remember really liking J&J but I need to revisit that one. And Her Fav is really damn near whack. Parker luvs that shit so he'll have a very different perspective.

Well, i caved, and bought BTH. I figured i could always sell it if it goes OOP again, but i wanted to check some of his other works out too.

Her Fav Colour is far from wack. I think it is an excellent release but it is pretty short. And I haven't listened to J&J...

J&J is straight dope... but I do recognize that I may be the only (literally, even) person who thinks so. If you like these tracks get it...

Those songs were straight. I do really like a J&J song off their mixtape, Hold on John. Used to bump that a lot...

And thats another thing about Blu since BTH's, what's up with all these short ass songs? I know he's a solo artist and all but come on man.

I'm a fan of the J&J album. Hold On John was a bonus track on the copy I got.

C.R.A.C. "The Piece Talks" is Blu's 2nd best offering IMO. J&J was alright to me. "Wow" was the only track I remember really liking. Below The Heavens is easily his finest work IMO.

Any plans of Blu getting back together with Exile? They were a good combo IMO.

Blu's new album "No York" has really peaked my interest after reading about it. Alot of interesting guest spots and some work with Exile as well. He's also confirmed that him and Exile will be working on another album according to Hiphopdx.

I don't feel anything has really been on the level of BTH, but Blu definitely has stand out songs aside from that album.. The Piece Talks was ok, didn't like it too much at first because it seemed so different than BTH...I think he's gonna do some interesting things with NoYork! sonically, he played some different shit when I saw him on Fashawn's higher learning tour, more along the braggadocio lyrics and electro type beats. He's def. experimenting with this album..
Can't hate on the fact that he has the balls to step outside of what he knows people will love/want from him..we'll see
