I was finally loading this album to my ipod and realized how dope this album still is. I use to really play it back then but for whatever reason it got lost in the daily music shuffle. I remember this one dropped during the decline of No Limit's reign so it got ignored for the most part I think. Any thoughts or comments on this album? I think its a real decent effort in the 3.75 range.
Here's one of the singles off it:

i think this is a little behind his first NL album. It's still in the 4.0-4.25 star range. I think the reason it didn't get it's just due is because this is different type of Fiend. People were accustomed to the wild amped up Fiend from his guest spots and I'm Bout It, and to a lesser extent There's One In Every Family. This album shows Fiend being a little more calm. There is less of that growling and energy. I think the people who loved the other side of Fiend were a little turned off by it. I actually love it though. This shows a different side of Fiend that really proves why he was better than almost every other NL member because his lyrics shine more than his style.

Good points Terry I did not think about it like that. This album still has a rough feel to it though. War 4 Reason & Heart Of A Ghetto Boy are two of my fav's off this album.

Good points fellas. I like his first effort better as well. However, this is atleast 4 stars to me. I would have loved to see a Ruff Ryders' Fiend album as well.

Yeah I was excited about the whole Ruff Ryders project also. He sounded good on those trks on RR Vol. 3. But once again he got on the label at the end of Ruff Ryders top dog status. Fiend has had some real tough times in this industry.

It certainly did come out during No Limit's decline (and Cash Money's rise, smh). It came out on July 6, 1999 to be exact. I liked it a lot at the time, especially the production from KLC. Now when I think about it, this album is not better than There's One In Every Family, but it's close.
