| Anybody heard this yet? It looks to have less involvement from Primo, but the shit looks pretty interesting from the front cover - is it some sort of concept album? | |

| Wow, I didn't even know this existed. I still listen to Blaqprint every now and then, it has surprised me with how much replay value it has for me. Is this out now or a future release? | |

My thoughts exactly. Plus, I like Screwball. I haven't even heard Blaqprint. I should look into that one too.

| I'm behind on Blaq Poet too. I still need Rewind: Deja Screw and Blaq Out.
If you are a screwball fan I'd recommend Hostyle's solo.. one eyed maniac

| This is pretty much a concept album. All the skits/interludes (stuff between songs) is news themed about a gunman killing random people. Plus, there's two separate songs...Daytime Shootouts & Nighttime Shootouts. The whole album is produced by Stu Bangaz and Vanderslice. Not too familiar with them, but their production on this does sound like a movie soundtrack/score. I think it's really dope. | |

Yeah I liked the concept behind the album, basically a horror movie set in the streets. I enjoy this but I do have a couple of problems with it. First of all, the production does make it sound like a movie soundtrack but that occasionally results in some pretty similar beats. I mean a couple of beats on here I felt like I had heard before, whether on the album or on another album this year. There are some pretty cool ones here and there but most of them don't have a very distinct sound. Also, the album flies by and it ends pretty abruptly with Nighttime Shootouts, I feel like he could have added another track or outro to wrap up the story a bit. I think Poet does a nice job on the mic and the guests all do a nice job. Celph's performance was probably my favorite, although Apathy brought it pretty hard too, and Vinnie Paz seems to work best on any sort of murder-obsessed rap track. So I guess I'll put this in the 3.75-4 star area. Pretty good and worth checking out, but not in the top tier for me so far this year.

| I like Butcher Shop, with R.A., even though that song is short... | |
