Well looking at that list...you were correct....lol. I thought YBB was Mac Drizzy's 1st album. Were those "official" albums like on a label or some underground swap meet records? As of now unless more people speak up I will only add that College Boyz and maybe one of those Mac Dre's if they are real albums.

How is that EA Ski?

Both MD's were 7 track EP's.

You gotta add that RBL over College Boyz at least, RBL is one of my all time favs.

Yes, I would put money down that The Chronic will win...there are a few on that list that I enjoy more.

That E-A-Ski is a 9 track and really good.

I think the Chronic will win this tournament. Mecca & The Soul Brother is an album which I hope goes far though.

That Blank did not drop until 1993 I thought. I'll double check. I remember Rino & him coming a year after Nip and Dope E.

On amazon for the mp3 version it says Jan. 1 1992. I'll look inside my cover when I get home. But if it did drop in 92 it will be added with the quickness.

What about TGC and Ultramagnetic ? Those should be in imo... Another dope album from 92 that sprung to mind is Chunk - Still the menace

yeah I used to have that c-funk avi, that album cover was dope... you're right AK doesnt get much love but then again neither do many other memphis rappers

The diff is on the cd label side and the matrix codes... The first press of that album has a red print on the label side with an image of a revolver, and says "made in taiwan" on the inner ring of the playing side... if you got that, then you got the original release... The 2nd press, has red print again on the cd label side but there is no gun on this one but I haven't looked at it in a long time so I can't remember the matrix code or who pressed it. That is something for me to look into as my friend has got that one.. Subsequent releases done later on had Black print on the label side, there was at least 2 of those as well.

I got the OG Prone but I need to run that sucka through a disk DR. When did the tape version of that come out? I swear I seen a 89 date for it as well.

Mine has black print on the label side. I figured it wasn't the OG because I had that on tape when it dropped not cd. I got the cd later. Mine only says Prone To Bad Dreams on the inner ring on both sides.

Yeah, the Chronic gets plenty of love, but so will a lot of other albums.

You might be thinking of Amazon in all their great incorrectful glory... They used to have 1988 as the year for it's release but it's wrong wrong wrong... Now they changed it to 2006 for the cd and left the tape version at 1988. They have the same thing for PSK-13 underhanded bandit but that drop was 93... UGK banned is at 1988 as well incorrect.. it was 92!
