| Andre Nickatina & Smoov-E - Decent, but most of it I heard before. Big L - Return of the Devil's Son - Same as above. Gangrene - Gutter Water- Better than I expected, some cats here will like it. Kanye West - MDTF - Dope, not my favorite Kanye CD, but nice quality. Lloyd Banks - HFM2 - Pretty forgettable, not bad I guess if you miss this style NY rap - sounds too much like Fabo nowadays though. |

| I copped the Kanye West- My Dark Twisted Fantasy Deluxe Edition. I can't believe they added the censor photo into the inserts, shit looks ridiculous. It's all blurry and shit...lol. Dope album, Gorgeous is a killer song. The production of the album is really solid, and KJ, this album is not filled with original samples, just listening to it and I automatically knew...lol. I still gotta watch the Runaway movie. | |

i still get blown away every time i listen to LALD...especially if i go a long time without listening i always think "damn G Rap is the GOAT" immediately after Oh yeah, I always feel he tried to sound to much like Face and Cube on this album rhyme cadence wise. To me its like he dumbed down his flow or something. Still a classic album but when I listen to his other albums his flow is much more vicious and faster. I will say this though after listening to this album I always wonder why he's not mentioned as a goat story teller.

Guest Guest
| Subject: Re: Recent Purchases and Spins Mon 29 Nov 2010, 12:49 pm | |
| The retail is far superior to the "bootleg" IMO (but I think the it's a nearly classic cd, so...), and also keep in mind that T Rock sells the bootleg for $10...not sure what IAP is charging. |
|
| |
Guest Guest
| Subject: Re: Recent Purchases and Spins Mon 29 Nov 2010, 12:54 pm | |
| 9.99 minus 20% plus shipping... wonder if T-Rock charges shipping - so would you say the bootleg isn't worth owning? In that case I would just order Myth of Reality |
|
| |
Guest Guest
| Subject: Re: Recent Purchases and Spins Mon 29 Nov 2010, 1:23 pm | |
| I would buy Myth Of Reality first, personally. But it depends on which T Rock you like. If you prefer the newer, more ATL-sounding T Rock, then you would probably like BOOTLEG more, but if you like the darker, more Memphis inspired shit, buy Myth of Reality. |
