I've never seen P to be the elite MC that everyone on here claims him to be. He fit his niche well; lace that with Havoc's production and you have a dope emcee. Nothing mind blowing, IMO, but he knew what he was doing. Mega puts a lot more emotion and thought into his tracks

I think he means Terry, Powell, Krob, and KJ. They were also the first people I ever heard say P was even worthy of elite status. Never heard anything like that before.

Prodigy in a ROUT, it's not even remotely close. Infamous and Hell On Earth destroy any Mega album, and I'd take Murda Musik over any Mega album not named The Realness.

Cormega, no question. I know some of the dumb, deaf, n blind will vote otherwise, but Mega is realer, rawer, and just a better rapper.
So is Kool G Rap dumb, deaf, and blind? I recall that he named Nas and Prodigy among Queens' dopest MC's but didn't name Mega. I mentioned Nas because I know you think Whoremega is better, but he's not.
And outside of this forum, I haven't heard ANYBODY mention Cormega as an elite MC, and I actually KNOW people from Queens. Most people say that he's good but not great.

I'm going with Mega because he has stayed consistantly lyrically on point. Prodigy peaked out even with only having to write one sometimes 2 verses after his 3rd grp album and one solo project. After that he is just a shell of his former glory. I cannot give too much credit to a rapper who only has to write one verse on average per song and cannot stay consistant.

Going with Prodigy by a whole bunch......it's not even close IMO....
Mega in 2011 is better than P, by a little bit...but Prodigy in the 90's was better than 'Mega by 3 solar systems IMO.....again it's not even close when comparing their skills overall-meaning over the course of their ENTIRE careers....

Powell when you and KJ say its not even close that shows how delusioanl we can be about our fav's sometimes. Prodigy in his prime is better than Mega in his prime but because of other reasons than only lyricism. Prodigy had a more unique delivery and rhyme style. Mega came off as a Nas flow clone or some shit. But once Mega grew more into his rap style he has stayed getting better or staying consistant.

Kev it's no delusion man...a delusion is thinking that Willay "DAMN" D is a dope emcee...lol
Me thinking that P is just a better emcee than 'Mega by a whole bunch is just the way I hear it...and I honestly don't even think it's close...P is better lyrically, voice, flow, rhyme cadence, wordplay, delivery...I mean everything it takes to be an emcee again IN MY OPINION....I like and respect 'Mega but this was a very bad match-up for him IN MY OPINION.....
