Mr Mike very easily. That Lost Boyz album as a whole had no replay value imo. It has some classic trks on it though.

I've never heard Wicked Wayz, but I love LDM. I'm sure I'd like it more than Mr. Mike, so I'm voting for it. I'm sure that will cause 1, 2, 3 thousand problems...

I'm with KRob on this one. That Lost Boyz album has a few great tracks, but the album as a whole doesn't do all that much for me.

Mr. Mike losing to this album will be a crime. And I like Lost Boyz as a grp so before anyone says some stupid shit. I'm speaking on which album is truly superior.... its Mike fairly.

I'd be willing to bet most voting for LB have never heard Wicked Wayz. KJ might have heard it before, but i doubt the others.

I admitted that I haven't heard Wicked Wayz. Legal Drug Money is most likely in my top 15 for '96 though, so it's not like it's easy to beat for me. Here To Save You All losing to Nocturnal is more of a crime, IMO. But, to me, it's no big deal.

Honestly, these tourneys are fun, to see how they all shake out. I'm more interested in when we get to the post-2000 years, when everything seems like it won't be so easy to predict.

How do you know it's more of a crime when you haven't heard the Mr. Mike?

If LDM is only in your top 15 for 96 than this Mr Mike may be able to replace it. I can see if LDM was in your top 5 or even maybe top 10 for 96 but top 15? GTFOH. Then you even said "most likely" so you are not even sure about that.

Ironman, Hell On Earth, Here To Save You All, Muddy Waters, Dr. Octagon, Firing Squad, Wrath Of The Math, Reasonable Doubt, ATLiens, Once Upon A Time In America...there's 10 that I'd take over LDM.

That excludes: Nocturnal, Da Storm, At The Speed Of Life, Enigma, Soul On Ice, The Score, It Was Written, Truth Crushed To Earth...Hell, even The Resurrection.

I've listed 19 albums, so why is "most likely top 15" such a big deal? Fine, LDM is a top 20 for 1996. I might like the Mr. Mike, and I'm not going to be upset if it wins. Not like it's going to win the tournament or anything, and there's no way I'd vote for it over the first 10 albums I listed. So, if you want to be upset about it losing, or being tied, that's on you. Have fun with it.

Fuck outta here with that bullshit bias statement Kev. It wouldn't be considered an upset AT ALL. Especially when you consider that most people haven't heard the Mr. Mike. I've heard it, and it's a good album but I don't consider it classic. Most people have BOTH these albums rated at least 4.25 stars or so.

Legal Drug Money is a personal classic to me, but I know that everyone doesn't feel that way. And LDM isn't even in my Top 10 of 1996. 96 is chock full of great albums. Mr Mike is maybe a top 20 album at best.

Just like Mystero said, it's not like either of these albums are gonna win the tournament anyway. I doubt that the winner here even makes it to the 3rd round. So there's no reason to be upset with the result of this matchup however it goes. But my vote is for the Lost Boyz in this matchup.

Saying that Mr. Mike losing to LDM would be a crime doesn't seem like questioning my logic to me. And I probably would like the album, I don't deny that. I have serious doubts about whether I'd like it more than the ones I listed, as I've said. I'll look for it on spotify at some point.

Both are dope albums- LDM just resonates better with me. This is where these match ups get interesting, I'm a homer for the east coast so that's usually where the vote goes on close ones. LDM brings me back to that whole era of phillies, 40s and house parties, always in the collection.

Never heard the Mr. Mike, but the way you all are talking about it I'm Interested in doing so. No vote.
