| Actually... if the Tigers didn't have Verlander and had some other pitcher who only won them say half of the 24 games verlander won them they would in fact be at .500.
I mean this is all conjecture... but even a guy who slugs 50 HRs is only responsible for WINNING so many games for a team... so while i usually agree about the pitcher not being MVP I do think a guy putting up a dominating performance every five days and getting over 25% of a team's wins in a year is enough. | |
