Best Album Of 1997 Finals: Wu-Tang Forever vs. The Untouchable

2 of the 3 albums I was hoping would make the finals did. I really wanted LAD to be in the finals against this Face album but random match up did not allow that.

Either way this should be a close finals. Will Wu get their 2nd year win? Or will Face get his 1st?

Face wins for me.

Damn, I was away for a minute and now it's the finals. I'm glad to see both of these albums here.

About this matchup...unlike LAD IMO, WTF is two whole discs worth of excellent material. As I said before I feel Untouchable is no skips as well and it's my fav Face album. I believe that on a grand scale, WTF probably takes this easily and I can't argue with those who vote for it here because I love that album too. But I have to give an honest vote for Untouchable. I spin it more, I like those types of beats better, and I prefer Face's style over anyone in the Wu except (probably even with) GFK.

I'm going with the Wu. I love 'em both, but it's a matter of preference. Neither is my personal #1 for the year, but that's irrelevant.

I voted for Face, but i'm honestly good either way. Wu Tang Forever is a great double album so it's no biggie.

LOL, there was no pun intended. I like Life After Death quite a bit, but yeah, that reads pretty bad though.

I like both albums about the same so the tiebreaker to me will be spins. The Untouchable definitely gets more spins than WTF, so I am going with Scarface.

Ah...Tran the Man gets the final say. Face. Why? Because I bump that album more. Quality wise, it's about the same.

Just keep in mind this is open until the 1998 tournament starts tonight. So if someone comes and changes the tie thats it. Also to keep this fair and due to the stakes it has to be a declared vote. No ghost vote.

I think we shouldn't count KJ's vote cuz he's been voting out of spite this whole tournament... and then Slang is wu groupie so his vote shouldn't count either.

It doesn't count. Only a declared. But the 1998 tourney has started so its just a tie. If Pounds comes around in the next day or so we'll see. But we are not leaving this open for long. Makes it kinda unfair.
