I'm going with Gang Starr on this one, but if Kast wins I'm cool with that also.

I skip fewer tracks on Moment of Truth, so GangStarr is getting my vote.

Aquemini. MOT isn't in the same class as it but is a solid album.

Preemo was born in tex-ASS, and for us (the public) to know that information he must have claimed it in some way right?? Guru was born in Boston and he too gave us (the public) that lil tidbit of info before he passed (R.I.P.)
but the 2 of them moved to BROOKLYN, NYC early on in their respective lives and both of them learned the art of creating hip-hop music (production and lyrics) from that borough....stop being an uninformed idiot and do your damn homework on Gangstarr mayne cause this shit is ridiculous.....lol
oh and by the way Moment Of Truth wins here too...it's the better album IMO...less skip tracks contained on it IN MY OPINION.....

Aquemini. Better lyrics better beats, imo.

How do you figure that? I'm not seeing that at all.
This is the toughest finals matchup that we've had thus far. These are my favorite albums from both groups and I spin them both a ton. I also don't skip any tracks on either album. Outkast and Gangstarr are also two of my favorite groups of all time. Both Aquemini and Moment Of Truth are classics without question and are on par with each other.
I'm giving the vote to Aquemini, but I'm good either way.

Aquemini has some great moments, not enough. It's almost half filler to me but I will confess my east coast bias, I don't know how much it has to do with it but Moment of Truth's weakest tracks are dope to me.

"Gay" is how I would describe the tracks on Aquemini I skip, I still appreciate the high points but as an album it holds no weight

I'm from the East Coast too, but even the weakest tracks on Aquemini are made up for with Three Stacks' lyrics. She Knows What She Wants is the weakest track on either album IMO. That said, I rate both albums at 5 stars.

I felt that way about Aquemini for a bit, too. It kind of clicked all at once for me... but I still don't like the Raekwon track or Mamacita. The rest is two tons dope.
I notice rave kids and E pillers always love Aquemini. Those people are the gayer types I think.

Skew It On The Bar-B is easily one of Aquemini's best tracks. The production and the way Rae was able to mesh with Andre and Big Boi was dope. Big Boi had the best verse on the song IMO.

I like West Savannah. If I had to pick a least fav song from Aquemini, it'd be Spottieottiedopalicious. But being the weakest song on an album like Aquemini is like being the worst looking chick in a beauty contest, it's irrelevant because it's you're still hot.

Honestly, the music to "Skew It On the Bar-B" never appealed to me. Just kind of sounds abrasive. As fas as West Savannah, I think I read that that was a leftover from Southerncaddilac...

And you can tell. Thats why it feels out of place on the album. Its not a bad song by any means just added in the wrong time frame.

Lyrically the song is good but the beat and hook really drop the value of that song. It seems very out of place on that album.

Mamacita is the one track I'm not feeling.
Spottie was the clincher that made me buy the album. I heard it at a club my homie was DJing. Spottie, Chonky, and Aquemini (been moving up) are my favorite tracks.
Props to Moment but I'm not taking it over Aquemini.

Likewise Pounds. Aquemini is among my Top 15 all time favs, and on any given day could be in my Top 10. I love Moment Of Truth almost as much, but not quite as much. There's not a wack track on either album IMO.
Skew It and Synthesizer are tied for my fav track on the album.
