I'm not sure how "official" it is myself. But one thing for sure it does not sound like it was just thrown together. There is one recycled verse on it from his Dopeman Music mixtape. These trks may be leftovers from those sessions. Face has one solo trk on it and he is on every song. This album/project is very similiar to The Product set up wise.

Pre-ordered this a couple weeks ago...can't wait for this shit to arrive.
And that Stu Bangas sucked to me. 17 tracks and it's only forty something minutes long? wtf. I'm also not a big fan of Stu's beats. Apathy kills all his guest spots tho. The Stu Bangas was pretty good. The Esoteric song is my favorite, though not necessarily my favorite beat. I agree that it was on the short side. I enjoyed it though.
IDE & Alucard is on tap for tomorrow. Yeah, I went back to the album again and it's still just average to these ears. Nothing really stood out to me. That IDE & Alucard is real dope tho, B-Boy Spacemen>>>>>>>>>>>

Let me know what you think about the whole album. I was high on the first few tracks myself but then I thought it got weak in the second half. Still overall a pretty cool album. My favs were Playground Legend and Fuck Ya Mother w/ Sean Price. I really dig this album, surprisingly more than any Curren$y album. Not all the songs are about weed, more diverse. New Jack is still the shit, but Fuck Ya Mother is fire too. I can't wait til that Sean Price album drops, already pre-ordered that shit on Best Buy.

Yeah, Rugby was def more diverse than his others but George Kush is still my fav album of his by far. I'm a sucker for weed raps. And I'm trying to keep my expectations down for that P just because I know how having high hopes goes. It's prob my most anticipated album in a while tho.

| Spins:
Kendrick Lamar - GKMC Freddie Gibbs - BFK
I have been going back and forth between these two for days now. It's funny because I was lukewarm about both of them at first but I can't stop playing them now. As much as I hate to jump on the K Dot band wagon, that mufucka dropped a great album. The concept and the story is just too dope. And once I played Gangsta Gibbs in the whip, it was a fuckin wrap. My top 10 is gonna go through a drastic change when I get around to updating it.
Man With The Iron Fists
This shit is dope too but I've only spun it twice due to the above mentioned albums. It will be getting some more play soon after I get tired of them.
On deck:
Wu Block
I spun a few of these and shit sounded pretty cool. But I haven't got around to the whole album yet.

I've just given Function like 3 spins. Mob Music like half a spin. I'd say these are on par with what 40's been doing since those night shift / day shift albums. Function is like high energy hyphy/club music. Mob Music is sounding a little more gangster and laid back. I dig em both for what they are, but like with block brochure it's a lot of music to go into at one time and a lot of sort of the same. Not any classic standouts (like that Bitch song he and Too Short did before that, nothing like that here). So I dig it, but I'm a big fan of both and it's honestly just more of the same.

I wasn't feeling it at first either but now I think its dope. I think I had certain expectations going into it after hearing his shit with Madlib so it threw me off. Like I said in another thread, I wish he would do more serious, street tales type of shit but I think he does every type of style well. He can do party songs and smooth songs just as good as gangsta songs or serious songs. His flow is just overall dope to me.
