Good day folks, diggin in the collection today, I have for you an album I have been bumpin a lot lately, and rightfully so.

CHUCK NUTT - Give It Up, from 1999 on Hiz Own Entertainment, from Vacaville Cali.

This album is a banger from start to finish, produced by a dude called Stix, who I know nothing else about and have not noticed him anywhere else, nor bothered to try and research him. Some truly dope beats have been laid on this album, it's got some of that old mobb bay sound and some tight singing hooks on a few tracks too. I would say this is easily up there with any Sick Wid It classic in my humble opinion, has a couple weaker tracks but they in no way bring the album down.

Chuck Nutt holds his own, and has just the right amount of features sprinkled throughout 20 tracks, from other well known artists within the region, B-Legit, Pizzo, Levitti, Doonie Baby, Lil Jazz, and a couple unknows Mr Stres & Young Shilla on one track.

Real dope album, I would give at least 4.00 to 4.50. Found a few good tracks on youtube but there's other bangers not on there, so I highly recommend checkin it if you come by it.

Volume 1 > PG-13, Rollin Wit Da PG [1990]
