PROSPER, Texas - The son of baseball star Torii Hunter is accused of being part of a club where high school boys allegedly drugged girls and had sex with them, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The newspaper reports that Darius McClinton-Hunter, 17, the son of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Torii Hunter, was among five Prosper High students arrested Monday after what prosecutors say was a months-long investigation. He bonded out of jail later that day.

According to the newspaper, prosecutors allege that the boys involved called themselves Team Snapback, and one boy is accused of dragging a girl into a closet where they say McClinton-Hunter forced her to have oral sex.

Torii Hunter has taken a leave from the Angels to travel to Texas and deal with "family matters," reports USA Today. The attorney for his son told that paper that McClinton-Hunter denies the charges against him.

"We were stunned by these accusations, disappointed by the way it was handled, but completely confident that the facts will prove Darius is innocent," attorney Todd Shapiro told USA Today. "He, as well as his family, looks (sic) forward to the opportunity to clear his name at the appropriate time."

My only change to the law would if the age difference is only 4 years let it go. Unless the parent has filed a complaint against the person who is legally an adult.

I think a lot of confusion would cut down if they made legal 18 across the board. If you really want to get it that bad you can wait especially if you're an adult.

As far as the Hunter scenario, that's what happens when kids have access to money and no supervision. Parenting by proxy is not good. If it's really true they were drugging the girls then I cringe because it means they're morally bankrupt. If they think doing stuff like that is okay then that is really disturbing. If she doesn't want to do it sober then maybe you weren't meant to have it. These kids are severely shortsighted about their actions.
