| Rank his discog please.
I'm going to give him a real try. Usually when someone gets the amount of praise he does its the one not seeing it who is usually missing something. I just purchased Operation Doomsday & Madvilliany.

| There's a thread over in General Hip-Hop... it's pretty inconclusive, though. Nobody seems to agree on much. | |

| Okay thanks. I just peeped it.
Doom and Grimm's voice, flow, and delivery are similiar to me. Both have that Killah Priest type delivery/flow.

| I'll come back with a ranking for the discog but I love Danger Doom (Danger Mouse and DOOM) "The Mouse and the Mask" above all else. Not too many people agree with me tho. It's a cool project that includes Adult Swim characters. I know, doesn't sound too appealing but its dope. | |

| Well I'd say after you give Madvillainy and Op Doomsday a spin or two, if you are interested at all then I'd say check out MM... Food for more of the Op Doomsday vibe. I personally think Vaudeville Villain is still his best work outside of Madvillainy, and Take Me To Your Leader is dope too.
Of course if you want some KMD get both of their albums, obviously more of an old-school sound and Doom doesn't dominate your attention like he does on his post-2000 stuff, but Mr. Hood and Black Bastards are both nice.
If you are looking for beats cop some Special Herbs albums.
His last album, Born Like This, might actually appeal to you if you aren't a fan of his production style, he didn't make all the beats on that one.
I haven't heard MA Doom or JJ Doom (a collab with Jneiro Janel) yet, both of which are out this year.
He has other good stuff but there's a lot to choose from there ha

| I have one of the KMD albums. Wasn't that impressed off one spin. Vicktor Vaughn & MM Food are my next picks if I like the ones I ordered. | |

Was that Mr. hood? If it was then I think you should check out Black Bastards by KMD still. I think you would like that album more than Mr. Hood...

| I feel you Blades. It just sounds dated, IMO. I guess if you bumped it back when it came out, you would feel diff about it but I don't like it much either. | |

| Okay listened to Op: Doomsday in full and thats a helluva start. Here's my initial rating:
Op Doomsday: Lyrics- B+ Subject Matter- C+ Production- A- Entertainment- B Originality- B+
His off flow takes some adjusting but its dope. And I enjoyed most of the beats. Like Ghost I don't know what the fuck he is saying sometimes so I could not give him an A in the lyric dept. I can tell hisl yrics are well thought out though.

Unfortunately, yes...or at least my copy is as well.... Maybe that's why I hate the album so much.

| I'm impressed Kev is giving Doom a chance. I really think a lot of his stuff is too out there, but his best stuff, like Vaudeville Villain or Operation Doomsday is phenomenal. | |

| Yeah, Danger Doom is edited blatantly with the bleeps. It's supposed to be that way for effect since it involves the AS characters. Kinda as if it were being played on TV. Doom isn't very vulgar to begin with so I don't think it takes anything away. | |

I love Danger Doom! Not only is it a dope album, it's funny as hell too.

| 5 Stars
Madvillainy Operation: Doomsday
4.5 - 5
MM..Food Vaudeville Villain Take Me To Your Leader Escape From Monsta Island!
4 - 4.5
Danger Doom Black Bastards (would rank higher if the sound quality wasn't so shit) Key To The Kuffs
3.5 - 4
Born Like This Venemous Villain
3 - 3.5
Mr. Hood (also shit sound quality and i'm not feeling it that much anyway)
His box set of Special Herbs is worth copping if you like his production style at all.
His collab with Masta Ace from this year is somewhere in the 4-4.5 range for me. Would be higher if I hadn't already heard the beats a million times and had my own idea of them already, if that makes sense.
His album with John Robinson of Scienz Of Life uses more special herbs beats. Nothing special.
Nastradoomus is DOOM remixing Nas songs using more special herbs. Just sounds weird. Not recommended.
The man has one of the best discogs in hip hop. People seem to either love or hate him though
