West Coast easily for me, though idk who YG is, but he sucks bad... Iron Fists was pretty good too, but A$ap Rocky is wack imo

West Coast and it wasn't even close. Only one that even had another good rapper was Ruff Ryders (DMX/EVE) and Talib's, only himself.

The west coast cipher got me the most excited. Except I was really excited to see Mystikal come from no where.
As a whole these were the weakest ciphers to date. Most of the rappers all had the same uninteresting delivery. Jean Grae blew her chance to make a big splash on a mainstream audience. How boring was her rhyme? Damn.

How long have they been doing these cyphers? I only first heard about them last year when they had the ones with Cube and his sons and Rev Run and his sons. I liked these better in general.
And I actually did enjoy all of these. No one blew me away but everybody held it down for what it was. West Coast was prob the best. 40 Water killed it and Kendrick was prob the best overall. Tip also killed his. The Ruff Ryders one was the weakest IMO.

They've been doing them for a minute. I remember they did one back around the time Lupe debuted and he had an ill verse in his cypher. In '09 they had Mos Def, Black Thought and Em do a cypher. That one is still my favorite... maybe tied with the Shady 2.0 Cyhper from last year.

YG rose to fame on this gem
As you can clearly see the man is a lyrical genius
Anyway the west coast one did it for me better than the others.
