Rappers who ain't right in the head

I do feel there's some rappers with real mental issues in the industry. Now I've already elaborated on how Holocaust is clinically a nutjob but there are others.

Canibus. Some of his music leaves me scratching my head and not cause of his complex rhymes. Like that 10 year late Slim Shady diss or that beef he started with J.Cole for praising him. That whole break down he did after he lost to Dizazter were he pulled out his notebook and felt like people were still interested in hearing him spit. But the biggest kicker is that he hasn't let go of his LL Cool J beef and still rants about how Def Jam sabotaged his career. As if that never happened he'd be some diamond selling rapper.

Ol-Dirty Bastard. He was on drugs but drugs can't make you that crazy. Some of it had to be him. He was crazy to look at.

Cappadonna. I just think this guy is sorta slow.

Malachi the Nutcracker (of Group Home). I do think this guy is slow and have a speech problem. But the whole Gangstar foundation is guilty of being "touched in the head" for even letting this dude rap. There's no way this guy shouldive been near a Preemo beat. He was one of those wack rappers that you just laugh after he's done with his verse. He almost ruined the whole Group Home album save for Preme's production. But I digress......Malachi was a dashing looking young man and he was ripped back in the day and if rumors of Guru were true....

Canibus has been dissing Eminem for ages, nothing late about that.

Chief Keef has that autistic look in his eyes. I can't help but think he might really be special.

Not to defend SPM, but I know people that know him, and they say he didn't do it, it was just like an extortion thing or some shit, but then again it's very possible that they would probably just rather believe that than that their friend is a pedo.

But DT good rule of thumb if you'd feel awkward asking the parent to take the girl on a date then that's probably a sign you're skinny dipping in the kiddie pool.

Big Lurch was on PCP when he did that. Yes, the actions were crazy, but he was also on drugs. If he did that when he was sober, then I think he'd be classified as crazy.


That being said 2pac definitely fits into the category if we are including depression as not being right in the head.
I think Necro might fit as crazy.

Youre right, Revue. Theres a difference between eating someones face while high on bath salts and eating someone's face and sitting back and watching TV afterwards

On the Big Lurch thing I watched the rhyme and punishment documentary which he is featured in and they interview him and the mother of the girl he "killed". He says he was at a dope house filled with drugs and guns and shit and the gang bangers he was with just kept forcing him PCP, then he regained conciousness when the police were yelling at him because he as naked in the road barking like a dog covered in blood. He also says that when the cops went to the drug house to that big lurch was staying in with the gang bangers all drugs and guns were gone as well as the gang bangers. The victim also had her head smashed open with a scooter and had some previous relationship with one of the gang bangers. The victims mother also thinks that big lurch had no part in the murder since he was too fucked on PCP to really do much, she just said that she assumed he saw her lung on the ground next to the bloody body and just thought it was a piece of steak or something.

If none of you have seen rhyme and punishment its a pretty good documentary with KRS-one doing the narration.


Also if you're counting depression then a decent amount of rappers have a mental issue in some form or another, dunno if Tyler the creator would fit in here I am 99% positive that his different personality's are purely rap based and don't follow him over into reality.

I also wouldn't put nerco in there as crazy dudes just really big into death metal, most death metal bands come off as crazy due to the subject matter and artwork when they are just kind human beings who are expressing themselves through a kind of fucked outlet.

Surprised no-one has mentioned R.A. the Rugged Man there has to be something there.

Oh yeah. Rugged man had issues, that's for sure (considering his background). Old Dirty might have had problems as well. Fatlip was depressed also (assuming depression fits as 'not being right in the head').
