I like Kanye and sorry if that is weird or something. His style and delivery is dope to me and not many in the midwest can touch it. Add his 3 good albums and dope beats it's a shoe in for me.

I just don't personally see Kanye having a dope style and delivery. Let alone a style and delivery not many in the midwest can touch. I have no idea what you and others are hearing. Dude is straight boring on the mic IMO. I have heard all his albums multiple times. I do agree he makes good albums, but that piss poor lyricism keeps me from actually replaying them. Just thinking of his "rhyme schemes" makes me shake my head. And I feel he delusional because he thinks he's so dope. Which makes me dislike his personality more and more.

No Bro Ali is not over Kayne but only because of albums preferance. Bro Ali is the betta lyricists though but I would play Ye before him. Ye is a great slick talker like Slick Rick and Jay-Z to me and I like that shit.

Artist and Mcing goes hand and hand Slang, just because you are not rapping in battle rhyme form does not mean you are not mcing. Ye is a decent lyricists and when motivated he can be damn good.

Ye is OK as an MC i just dont think hes top 10 from the midwest at all when it comes to my favorite rappers from the region. He's nothing special to me, he makes good albums mostly due to his production, but im looking at this list as greatest rappers

kanye clearly does not deserve to be mentioned, its a little annoying waiting for kev to always get through his personal favorites when he does this but oh well.

I disagree. If the emcee is also a producer, he should be graded on his production as well IMO.

Well Premo only has spoken word on some songs but his production alone makes him top 10, what now? Voting on production is ridiculous since we didn't nominate 1/10th of the producers last time, or this time.

Kanye is Top 5 (#3 to be exact) because his catalog save for 808's and Heartbreak is excellent IMO. I know you're biased against MC's that you dislike, but to say that Kanye doesn't objectively belong is ridiculous.

Did I ever say he has zero classics? Late Registration is a personal classic for me. While College Dropout and Graduation are 4.5 and 4.25 stars respectively.
