I've been sleeping on this artist for a very long time, and I came across a song he did called "Pigs". That song was dope enough to convince me to check out his albums. Where do I start?

None Shall Pass is you best bet. You might like Labor Days and Fast Cars Danger Fire and Knives too, but I don't think you'd dig Bazooka Tooth that much.

^^^I'll have to give None Shall Pass a go to see if I like him. That video sucked, but the song was decent.

I can't really fuck with youtube on my phone, but you've gotta check out Daylight. That song is a solid classic. Just perfect.
None of his music is overly graceful, but if you're down with some stick-to-your-ribs lyrics and a snarky sense of humor, he's well worth your time.
I don't think you'd be disappointed spending the dough on Labor Days (my favorite by him) or None Shall Pass.

None Shall Pass is less abstract, and easier to get into than Labor Days, IMO. If you're not ready for some real wierd sounding hip hop right away, start with NSP

I'd go with Labor Days. Even if you're not feeling Aesop much, Blockhead's production is probably the best I ever heard from him, and it drives the album better than any album in his discog.

Aseop definately takes some gettin used to man. But he's a dope emcee. Probably one of the most original emcees I've come across in a long time.
