| I'm loving '09 so far. I actually just updated my list earlier, but here's my...
Top 10 full-length albums:
Bicasso & DJ Fresh - Rebel Musiq LP (5 stars) Tanya Morgan - Brooklynati (5 stars) Cyne - Water For Mars (5 stars) Lushlife - Cassette City (4.5 stars) Dela - Changes of Atmosphere (4.5 stars) Tiye Phoenix - Half Woman Half Amazin' (4.5 stars) Ayentee - Curiosity Saved The Mouse (4.25 stars) Rise & The Avid Record Collector - Risen (4.25 stars) B-Real - Smoke N Mirrors (4.25 stars) Tash (Tha Alkaholiks) - Control Freek (4.25 stars)
Top 3 EP's: Brother Ali - The Truth Is Here EP (4.75 stars) Inverse - So True EP (4.5 stars) Atmosphere - Leak At Will EP (4.5 stars)
The last inclusion on the full-length albums (Tash - Control Freek) was based off of one listen so far. I actually just bumped J-Ro - Rare Earth B-Boy Funk Vol. 2 after that, and I must say I'm digging Tash a bit more. Mostly because Tash is a better lyricist. Both albums are dope, but that Tash is bangin'. Check it out if you haven't Kev (SRP...Exzakt).

| I'll just used the same list that I used on the other favorite of 2009 so far thread, with two new inclusion- Lushlife and Slaughterhouse.
Lushlife- Cassette (4.75 stars. My favorite album so far. Really dope stuff here. Standout track- Meridian Sound part 3)
Slaughterhouse- Slaughterhouse (4.75 stars. Dope, dope album. Damn these guys came hard, excellent chemistry. Fix your ears! Standout track- Lyrical Murderes)
La Coka Nostra- A Brand You Can Trust (4.5 stars. Surprising stuff here, "The Stain" is among my favorite songs of the year)
U-God- Dopium (4.5 stars, another album that really surprised me. I never expected a U-God album to be this solid. Standout track- God Is Love featuring Ghostface Killah)
Brother Ali - The Truth Is Here EP (4.5 stars, a really solid EP here. Brother Ali has never let me down. Standout track- Palm the Joker)
Mr. Nemo- Nemomusic (4.5 stars, dopeness! Al, you check this album out yet? I’m loving this album. Standout track- I’ll Be Around featuring Sunspot Jonz)
Alchemist- Chemical Warfare (4.25 stars, damn I wish they didn’t included that Prodigy solo, that shit was terrible. Standout track- Therapy featuring Evidence, Blu, Talib Kweli and Kid Cudi)
AZ- Legendary (4.25 stars, another solid album by AZ. Standout track- Before It's All Said & Done)
G&E (Grouch & Eligh) - Say G&E! (4.25 stars. Standout track- Denial featuring Rick Rock)
The Jacka- Tear Gas (4.25 stars, big ups to SRP for this one, I’m digging it. Standout track- Callin’ My Name featuring Mistah F.A.B.) |

| Man... there's so much I still have to check out from my favorites...
Right now my list would probably look like:
Slaughterhouse- Slaughterhouse: 4.5 stars UGK- UGK 4 Life: 4.5 stars Eminem- Relapse: 4.5 stars Jay Stay Paid- 4.5ish stars Tanya Morgan- Brooklynatti: 4.25ish stars Joe Budden- Escape Route: 4.25ish stars Marco Polo & Torae- Double Barrel: 4 stars RZA- Chamber Music: 4 stars Red & Meth- BlackOut! 2: 4ish stars
Spot 10 could go to Jada, Diamond District, Jazz Liberatorz, Quik & Kurupt....
I still haven't heard Puba, Aceyalone, Alchemist, AZ, The Jacka, CYNE, Lushlife... or basically anything good, I guess

| I like it better than Padded Room, but I know how much you like PR, so I'm not sure if you'd like it better. Definitely download it, though.
Also, I have the Alchemist downloaded; just haven't gotten around to listening, yet

J-Ro's got a dope style too IMO, but I always thought Tash was clearly a technically better rapper. And I do like his style and rhythm more. I'd check it out though. I listened to it a second time last night and am really digging it. Plus, there's a couple of real nice collabs on there with J-Ro, and also other dope guests.
