I recently checked out Tash's (Tha Alkaholiks) 2nd solo album, and am definitely happy with it. Tash definitely hasn't lost his lyrical wit. He definitely isn't outshined by any of the dope guests either (Del The Funky Homosapien, J-Ro, King Tee, and more...). The production is mostly handled by E-Swift, Tony Touch and Oh No, and is dope throughout. There's definitely a few flaws here and there mostly in the hook department, but it's very solid and is holding nice replay value. Gotta say I'm digging this more than J-Ro's newest album, but I still rate them about the same.

My rating: 4 stars

Man, i hate to pull a Halfsharkalligatorhalfman and bump a thread from 2 years ago, but i just finally bought this album last night, and it's a banger IMO. Its got nice west coast production and nice west coast guests(King T, J Ro, B Real, Kokane and Del). It really flows well from beginning to end with really only 3 or so subpar tracks. My initial opinion is 4.25 stars or so.

Right on man. It has slipped in replay value for me with some time. IMO, Tash is killin' it on the mic on that whole CD. That's what kept me listening for so long (and some nice guest tracks). But the production just hasn't held up much for me, so I've set it aside for a long time. I may play it again soon though....
