| You know, I clicked on "neither", but kind of wish I would have given them a top 10 pity vote after I saw the totals. Their debut is 100% classic IMO...gets spins all the time. DJ Quik laced Gangsta D & KK with some of his best material and the chemistry was air tight. But their one other album didn't live up to it, and that's where the story of 2nd II None ends...(?) | |

2nd II None "Tha Shit" (recorded in 1994, unofficially released 2008)
Tha Shit is an unofficially released album by rap group 2nd II none. It was leaked on the Net in 2008 though it was recorded during the group Death Row era. It's produced by DJ Quik. The songs "The Dogg'n Me", "If U Ain't Fuck'n" and "Tha Shit" appears in the 1999 album Classic 220 in remixed version. The song "Didn't Mean To Turn You On" appears in Above The Rim soundtrack. "Nuthin' Has Changed" appears remixed in DJ Quik's Safe & Sound as "Keep tha "P" in it". A remixed version of "Let's Get Higher" appears in Tupac's "Better Dayz" as "Late Night" (Featuring Outlawz and DJ Quik, 2nd II None doesn't appear in this version). Several artists appear in the album, though they are not credited.

| I must say just from the skim this album is looking good. You can mos def tell the era and vibe of that era from the sound of the album and the Deathrow influence on the grp is there. I am so glad this album came into my life...lol. Top 10 fa real. |
