| There's been alot of solid new releases the last month and a half. Rank these albums along with your rating for it.
Brother Ali "Us" Slaughterhouse Jay Z "BP3" Raekwon "OB4CL 2" Krs/Buckshot "Survival Skills"
Also, if you want to add any more albums, go ahead, i just picked these 5 cause their the ones i've been spinning the most. Ranked in order:
1. Raekwon "OB4CL 2"-4.5-Dope album, better than i expected. My album of the year so far.
2. Slaughterhouse-4.5-Some were disappointed, i don't see how.
3. Brother Ali "Us"-4.25-Love the direction that Ant took with the production.
4. Krs/Buckshot "Survival Skills"-Can't rate yet, i've only spun it twice but i do like it. Need to get a few more listens in.
5. Jay Z "BP3"-Still haven't heard it yet. I will soon but the albums above were higher on the priority list for me.

| I agree with Zoltar's ratings, except I'd give Jay's album 3.5 stars.
And Pounds, you need to get that Rae, and spin Survival Skills again. |

| Brother Ali-4.5 stars. Ali is as sharp as always, and i'm a big fan of the direction Ant's production has taken.
Jay-Z-4.25 stars
Rae-4.0 stars
Slaughterhouse-4 stars
KRS/Buckshot-3.75 stars. it's a dope album at first, but it does not have a ton of replay value to me. KRS was slightly disappointing on this one too

I agree Terry, KRS sounds very very average on the lyrics on this album. He almost sound uninspired like he just wanted to get the album over with. Buck and him do not have the best chemistry either maybe if he does that album with Freddie Foxx it will bring out that sleepin legend. |

| Kev, i think i know what you like from the last 2 years i've been posting on these forums. Your going to dig the production on "Us" better than Ali's other albums. | |

| Brother Ali "Us"- N/A, I'll get around to it, soon
Slaughterhouse- 4.5; still my AOTY, thus far
Jay Z "BP3"- 3.75; better than I thought it would be
Raekwon "OB4CL 2"- 3.5-3.75; I'll re-visit this one again, soon, but the two times I've played it, it didn't do much for me
Krs/Buckshot "Survival Skills"- 4 stars, after 3 spins

| Well obviously KJ that was just to mess with you - but seriously - the consensus seems to be around say a 3.75 and this is including people are big fans of KRS - so I will pass on this since I am neither a big fan of KRS nor did anything I heard from this CD sound good to me. Neither did buck shot either - at least not compared to his work on the BCC albums and first 3 black moon CDs... |

| KRS and Buckshot is 4 stars to me..this was not the greatest display of lyrical abilities but it has more than it's share of quality material on it..by no means is it a classic but it's not horrible either.
Raekwon's album to me is 3.50 stars...it's a decent effort but nowhere near as good as everybody is making it out to be..especially when it's a sequel to an all-time classic..I like it but not as much as everybody else.
Jay-Z is 4 stars..now this one is the exact opposite of Rae's in that everybody seems to hate it, but it's actually much better than it's given credit IMO
those are the three that I have so far..

In all seriousness, the album really isn't that bad. Not classic material, but not wack either. I always thought Buckshot was an aquired taste anyway. And Kris is just having fun man. Dude already has 15+ dope albums, he's already a legend, he dosen't have to prove himself, so why not just have fun with it.

Krs....N/A still. I have it downloaded but for some reason I'm not motivated to listen to it.
