| Face it, back in the day you had to have something about yourself to get a record deal. You didn't have to be the fanciest lyricist but you must have some level of appeal. Alot of these indy cats wouldn't have laneded record deals in the golden age. So Im gonna list artist and pot a R by their name if you feel they couldve landed a Major record deal then or put a N if you think they couldn't
Prince Ali Mr. Lif Eyedea Sage Francis Ivan Ives Kongkrete Jedi Mind Tricks Apathy (OK he had a deal but was fucked over cause hip hop culture switched up, but think if he raped earlier) Ill Bill Guilty Simpson Elzhie Blu Scholars Strange Fruit project Lost Children of Babylon

Prince Ali Mr. Lif-(N).....too 'fuck the mainsream' for the mainstream Eyedea(N)...style's too abstract for the mainstream hip-hop crowd...could possibly do something with the indie rock schtick... Sage Francis(R)...refer to Mr.Lif Ivan Ives...n/a Kongkrete....n/a Jedi Mind Tricks(R)....I could definitely see this Apathy (OK he had a deal but was fucked over cause hip hop culture switched up, but think if he raped earlier)(R)...Apathy could cross over Ill Bill(N)...fuuuuuck no... Guilty Simpson(N)... Elzhie(R)....I could see this....prob. be big with the hipster crowd.... Blu Scholars(R/N)....toss up...... Strange Fruit project...n/a Lost Children of Babylon(R)...nahhh

| Ill Bill I believe is marketable, plenty of White Boys could identify. I mean if ICP can snag fans why not Bill. Come on, What's wrong with Bill? | |

| If you like lyrical Horrorcore and porno rap then Necro's the guy. And he samples Death Metal.
If Eminem can get a slot I'm sure there's room for Bill somewhere.
