Off one full listen I say a 3.75 or maybe a tad lower right now. I highly respect his skill level and mature level lyrically but after a while he just comes off as not really standing out. Exile beats were not all that on this album or maybe did not seem to fit what Fashawn was saying or conveying. But this is only off one listen so take that with a grain of salt.

I have it at a 4.0 after two spins..... I disagree with Exiles beats not fitting Fashawn I think they compliment each other well.

Sounds like Below the Heavens-lite. Fashawn isn't Blu, but I'd say a good 4 is warranted.

4.25-4.5 right now. I'm digging this album a lot, one of my favorite albums so far. This album is so damn chill, lots of standout songs. "Father" and "Boy Meets World" are the cuts! Digging the Tony! Toni! Tone! "It Never Rains in Southern California" sample on "Sunny CA", "Why" is a dope, deep track. I can go and on, album is mad dope.

cosign Flyte Tyme. Great album and i think the beats are dope. Just as good as Blame One and maybe a little better in my opinion.

3 spins in....and it's my album of the year. I am really feelin this album. It's not as good as Below the Heavens but that's a 5 star classic IMO. I give this one 4.5

I disagree with that entirely. I think Fashawn is one of the best young cats to hit the rap game in a very long time. I loved Exile's beats on this. I've already played this album 3 times since downloading it. Right now I'd give it a 4.25 but that rating might increase later. You should spin it again Kev.

After a 2nd listen I still say 3.75 or so. He's a dope young rapper no doubt and I am not mad I bought the album either. I think Exile tried to make another Below The Heavens and maybe thats the problem.

Solid 3.0. Fashwan has potential, he just needs to mature a bit as an emcee.

Yeah I have it at 4 stars but 4.25 sounds fair also. I think Fashawn is a really dope lyricist and he'll only get better with time. Exile did a great job with the beats as well.

3 stars is way to low for this album. It's nothing mind blowing, but it's a solid album. 3.75 seems about right for this album.

Wow. Sucks trying to catch up with all you jerks, but I have this album at 4-4.25. I agree that it's a Below the Heavens-lite. Good description.

didn't notice this post lol, but Blue and Exile ended up not showing up, Fashawn was pretty good but i missed half of his set, One Be Lo showed up instead and filled Blu and Exile's time slot
