Yeah man it's a great album, check it out sometime. Download it first and then buy it at Amazon because they have it at a pretty good price.

Anyways, the album I have as my avatar is Top 50 for me. In my opinion, the best DITC album.

I'm not Terry, but the Lord Finesse comes very close IMO. As does "The Awakening". Hell, so does "Return...", but I still think I grab for Diamond D most.

my fav is Runaway Slave that makes my top 10 actually.....Funky Technician is like top 25-30

Top 75, one of the best produced albums in hip hop.

I like Runaway Slave more, and i have also spun Goodfellas more since i bought it too. I'm not ready to say it's better than Stunts, Blunts, and Hip Hop though. I never meant for my original statement to sound like an indictment on this album's dopeness. It's more than deserving of its classic status. There are at least 3-4 DITC releases that could be considered the best from this camp. They're that dope.

The Big Picture? Really? There's nothing wrong with the album, but it's still a little shocking to place it over Funky Technician, Word...Life, Runaway Slave, Lifestylez, Goodfellas, and a few others. At least you're honest about it.

The Big Picture? Really? There's nothing wrong with the album, but it's still a little shocking to place it over Funky Technician, Word...Life, Runaway Slave, Lifestylez, Goodfellas, and a few others. At least you're honest about it.

I've already told you why I prefer it over Lifestylez. That and Funky Technican are probably neck and neck but I give Big Picture a slight edge. It's just that so many of Big L's rhymes on that album had me hitting the playback button. Lord Finesse's debut does the same for me but I reach for Big Picture slightly more.
