Top 100 Albums of All Time - Day 53

Nice & Smooth - Aint a Damn Thing Changed

I love this album. I remember 1991 when this album was released,

I got this album, The Low End Theory, and A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing all for Christmas that year and I bumped the hell out of all three and I still play them to this day!

While this album ranks 3rd out of those three albums, it's still a classic from beginning to end. Top 75.

Dope song, but not really a favorite of mine.

Sometimes I Rhyme Slow, Hip Hop Junkies, and Funky For You would all make my Top 100 as far as songs go.

top 100 easily...this shit is classic material...you got motherfuckers voting Liquid Swords top 1..2 and 3 of all-time (and it is a great album, although not sure about it being ranked that high) but they won't put this classic material in the top 100???

Why do you continuously bash Liquid Swords??? You act as if it has no business being mentioned among the all time great albums. You voted Top 50 for LS so you obviously enjoy the album as well.

I agree that this album is a classic and it's in my Top 75 actually, but LS is better.

KJ am I comparing this to Liquid Swords?? I think the entire point flew directly over your head...I did give Liquid Swords top 50 but IMO it is certainly not a top 10 hip-hop album of all-time...and outside of this forum I have never even heard that album mentioned in that vain.....is it better than this effort?? yes it is but this is a top 100 effort from Nice And Smooth easily...it's probably their best effort...that's where I was going with that statement!

Well personally LS is Top 15-20 or so for me, so Top 10 wouldn't be a stretch. I saw a few celebs like Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle rank it in their Top 20 as well.

Everyone in this forum though has at least one album in their Top 10 that's not a consensus Top 10 though.

I agree with this being Nice & Smooth's best effort though. Their debut album was dope as well.
