I voted and posted on that thread and it did not count it. So that would have made it 7-8 closer than now.

La Coka Nostra. Don't think it will win the whole thing but it's a good pick for sleeper of the year.

I only heard ABYCT once and it impressed me but SS got betta on the 3rd spin so I am stuck.

Survival Skills and I'll admit I haven't even heard the other joint...and I know damn well I'm not the first one who hasn't heard something that voted..I'm just the only real one to admit it...FUCK IT!!
For the record Survival Skills is not a classic album but it most certainly is a pretty good album with two legends going at it...the production is decent...the flows are tight...the subject matter could've been a little bit better...the lyrics are tight but not either emcee's best they've ever spit......but this album is getting unfairly panned IMO on this forum, and I'm not completely sure why???
Anyway my vote goes to Buck and Kris!

^ i havent voted on any of the other threads cuz i didnt hear both albums
but anyway...Survival Skills is dope dont get me wrong but i think the LCN album is better and if you gave it a chance id actually think you would like it. It has a more original/unique feel to it than Survival Skills. Once again Survival Skills is dope but the production is a lot of the typical beats ive been hearing from Duck Down the last 2 or so years, whereas the LCN has fresher sounding production and better subject matter...just my opinion

Want some cheese to go with that whine, LMAO!!!!
Survival Skills baby!!!
And Slang, you need to peep these albums man.
I haven't heard the other album to be honest, but it'd have to be pretty damn awesome to compete with SS.
I think most are voting against SS because they're butthurt about UGK losing, but whatever. I'll download LCN and see what the hype is about.

should people vote if they only heard 1 album. gay
LCN those dudes did a good job. that song with bun b was classssssic
the album had top notch production, different sounds, some originality. it was great. buck and kris are some of my all time favorites and the people in LCN are nobodies to me but they did good. old heads dont give newer people props when it against old school cats . its biased but its all good

I don't think UGK deserved to lose to SS, but it's whatever. LCN put out the better album, and it's that simple. There was dope production, desire and originality on A Brand You Can Trust. There was none of that on SS. I have heard every album i have voted on. To all the naive, do your self a favor and listen to the LCN joint.

Yeah that's some bullshit! While I like A Brand You Can Trust, it's not better than Survival Skills.
The production on the LCN album was bangin, but lyrically KRS and Buck murk them.
