| It feels like a waste of a dope beat or a dope concept | |

| Agreed...another thing that irritates me is when songs are just one long ass verse with no real concept or substance. K Rino usually delivers but multiple songs like this on one album get really fuckin old (like MF Doom and others). |

| My biggest pet peeve are songs that have one minute-plus long skits at the beginning or end of them. I hate that shit with a passion! |

| Co-sign you there KJ.
Also, bonus tracks that are added onto songs or put before songs with that negative time shit. That REALLY pisses me off. Bonus tracks should be bonus TRACKS. |

| that said too short of songs can be bad, but short in general is not to me
what pisses me off more is when theres a dope beat in an intro of a song then the beat changes to something not as good for the actual song, or when a dope beat is wasted on a skit

| Gospel Choruses..with the exception of 'Get By'........it can stay.
Pointless Skits...while some may fit the mold and contribute to the album..I 99.9% skip the skits...
Auto-Tune..when i heard Snoop do it..a part of me died..(its just...annoying)
The phrases, "Up in the Club"--"Lookin' so...."--Anything Plies says..
Instructional Dance tunes..especially nowadays, jesus christ, I wonder what a studio session is like with some of these stupid fuckin' songs and the idiots spewing them out...

| LMAO @ Acrid Co-sign
That shit about a dope interlude that segues into a not as dope song tops my list. Shit drives me nuts.
Pete Rock is infamous for that shit. He used give you like 20 seconds of an outrageously good instrumental between tracks.

| I don't think Mental Stamina is all that short.
Ultimate Sacrifice, the dopest song on Kong's album is way too short.
And on Quasimoto's The Unseen Lp-the title track starts out with the dopest beat on the album but midway through the song Quas switches up the fucking beat. The song was short enough but to only hear that beat for half the song...ERRRRR!!!

| Actually even worse than Jive's infamously bad artwork is Def American's cd covers in the 90's. THEY WERE ALL THE FUCKING SAME. |

| I hate great albums that have one blatant commercial attempt somewhere on there that prevents me from leaving it on repeat.
Pretty much all skits suck dick, even if they are funny the same joke isn't time after time but a great song can be listened to over and over
Personally i don't mind dope songs that are short. That is one reason why I enjoy Doom and Cormega. If it is the only good track or best track on the album i see your point though |

| Actually, talking over a dope track. There's a song on the Kokaine Kowboyz cd where there's just some pimp from Milwaukee talking over a ridiculously dope beat about bullshit. What point does that serve? Do we really need to hear a pimp talk to two rappers about not paying attention to "demmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm haterzzzzzz"? No, I really fucking don't. Spit please, it's why I bought this cd. |
