This wouldn't make my top 100 but What My Name, Get At Dog, What These B's Want, and Its Goin Down would all make my top 100.

I beg to differ, it still gets mad play in clubs. Top 100 for me.
I especially love the remix, with the Lox, Eve, and Drag-On.

The 40-40 club is though, unlike the crawlspaces that you and 20 of your peeps fit in and dwell.

I don't need to do that, they'll play "It Ain't Hard To Tell" regardless, jabroni.

Of course you would, cuz it's actually dope. The clubs you go play nothing but Lil Wayne, Souljah Boy, Gucci Mane, OJ The Juiceman, Wale, Plies, Ace Hood, D4L, and other random wack acts.

Funny, I didn't see you there last time I went... but incidentally last time I went out they only played Wayne and Gucci.. mixed in with wack shit like Jay-z and Biggie...
But could it be I would hate to hear that song because it's not a fucking club song and not because of anything else? That shit is wack.. the club is for clubbing... not gay man love... at least the ones I go to...

I'm straight up and down like 6 o'clock fool. I go to clubs to dance and parlay with women and a lot of them like Nas. I hear If I Ruled The World, and You Owe Me quite often at the clubs, and occasionally Hero.
Nas isn't a commercial rapper anyway so he doesn't make much club music, he makes mind-stimulating music.
Back to the original topic though, Ruff Ryders Anthem has aged quite well. It's easily one of X's most popular and appeals to both hardcore and commercial fans. I understand why it wouldn't be in everyone's Top 100, but the beat is bangin in my opinion and it's a head nodder, hence it's in mine.

Oh wait...he raps on beat. Sorry, I was mistaking you for some one who likes people with talent.
Also, hurt feelings? Did I petition the forum because of bad reputation rankings? Did I threaten to post less? Do I make threads about hurt feelings? You and Powell are the achy asshole twins but go ahead and project. I'm an adult, and I can take it.

ALL of the MC's I like have talent. Wale is aight but nothing special, anybody that collabs with Gucci Mane loses points with me.
And you're the KING of hurt feelings. It was YOU that LEFT the forum because of hurt feelings. You're more sensitive than ribbed jimmy hats. Eat a dick!

Ribbed condoms are extra sensitive. You'd know that if you used one.
And privately asking some one to delete my account because this forum is counter productive is a far cry from publically whining about my reputation because I made retarded ass statements like "Wale is a SOUTHERN club mc" and "It Ain't Hard To Tel still gets play in the clubs" and "lyrics are what makes a song pop" etc etc etc.

Ruff Ryders Anthem has been gay from day 1. Only morons were bouncing to that shit when it came out.
I never liked Swizz's "my first casio" production. It was wack then, but heads were too stupid to realize it due to them being the hottest crew out at the time.
It's really easy to see that this song is awful when the bandwagon isn't blocking your view...

Third, I'm not on your dick, but I doubt I'd notice if I was.

1) It had nothing to do with him being Southern, just wack.
2) I'm not a Drake fan either, I have liked a few songs by him but not feelin his overall style
3) That was a figure of speech. I like pie not sausage. What I meant is stop fuckin with me and taking everybody else's side against me. That makes you look really gay.

Y'all need to stop frontin like every song you've ever liked had great lyrics.
I don't know about y'all, but whenever I've been in the club and this song came on I had bitches grindin their asses hard on my dick.
The lyrics aren't what makes this song great. DMX isn't a great lyricist anyway, it's a high energy pump it up song just as Slang said. A club banger all day.
Anyway, starting tommorrow Terry and I will be switching threads for a month. He'll take over the song thread, and I'll take over the album thread.

There are plenty of songs i hear in the club that are great, but they would never make my top 100. Eye Of The Tiger is a workout/pump you up anthem and i wouldn't consider it top 100 either.
