Not my GOAT but close. It had a weak spot. Actually i think that it might be my favorite G Rap album. Live And Let Die is dope but its a little to hardcore for me, although it does have some of my favorite G Rap songs. Wanted Dead Or Alive is good because its kind of a mix of RTTR & LALD.

Yeah I've been spinnin it a lot lately because I hadn't spun it in ages, and in hindsight I would have to say that this is definitely G Rap's best album. Live Or Let Die was dope, but RTTR was more versatile subject matter wise. I also agree with Wanted Dead or Alive being a nice mix of the two.
This album ranks about in the 40's for me. Easily one of the dopest.
And Kev man, you're crazy. There's no way that there's 100 albums better than this, not even objectively.

I'm assuming you consider Kev an east coast hater too since he neithered this album as well.

KJ, I can see this not being top 100 for some (only taking the music into account, not the impact or anything). LALD and WDOA or probably better albums objectively, but this is my 2nd favorite G Rap album. Top 75.

Neither for me but it's close. I would put Live and Let Die and maybe Wanted: Dead or Alive in my top 100, but not this album...

No because I know that Kevin has Nas, Biggie, and Jay Z in his Top 10. While it baffles me how such a gangster rap aficionado would neither this album, He's clearly not an East Coast hater
But Yogi (along with a couple other non-East coasters) has neithered EVERY East Coast album I've put up since I've been doing this thread. But whatever. Can't say I didn't at least try to appease to their rap tastes since I've been mixing it up as of late.

I would think that makes Kev a gangsta rap fan more than an east coast fan. Just my thoughts though.

I don't see it at all. After spinning RTTD a number of times as of late, I feel that it's clearly G Rap's best album although they're all classics. While I could see why someone would like the other two better, I don't see how a G Rap fan wouldn't rank this Top 100. Just my opinion.

I think G Rap is as gangsta as just about anyone that's ever done it given his subject matter.
And to Shaun, while LOLD was his darkest album. RTTD was VERY street as anyone livin in the hood could relate to the shit he was talking about on it.

top 50 easily IN MY OPINION..
this is that extremely hungry G Rap when the legend was starting to grow...this is that spitter with the lisp that would cover you in saliva...this is that young G Rap whose breath control was fuckin scary...lol...all of that combined with Marley's production in his prime
top 50 EASILY-IN MY OPINION!

exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so it's possible for Kev to like gangsta rap without really liking the east coast. so if you're gonna call out Yogi, call out everyone who voted neither.

Well someone who has Nas, Jay, and Biggie in their Top 10 can't be an East Coast hater. While I know he prefers the South and West more overall he doesn't hate the East, and he hasn't neithered every East Coast album I've put up. I said that earlier, but that went in one ear and out the other as usual.

No, i heard you clearly. I've seen Yogi and Romped vote for east coast albums before. Just because they don't like the albums you've chosen doesn't make them haters. you assume that cause Kev likes east coast Gangsta rappers he is not biased against the east, and that is not true. people like what they like. it doesn't make them anymore of a hater than you talking sideways about souther or west coast artists. you try to make up excuses for people not liking certain things you hold near and dear to your heart. east coast hater blah, blah, blah!!!!!

Believe what you wanna believe Terry. I don't find it coincidential at all that Yogi, Romped, and ESPECIALLY SRP have neithered EVERY SINGLE east coast album I've put up. And I'm also willing to bet that those were among the ghost haters who were bitching about the albums I've been nominating. I have not neithered every single Southern or West Coast album that you, SRP, or Slang has put up though. In fact, some of them I've rated very highly. So take that for whatever you will.
All I can say is, I've been trying to please everyone in here with my picks as I've chosen different styles as well as different coasts. If they don't like them, it's whatever. But I don't wanna hear any more shit about my rap taste being limited when others can EASILY be accused of being that.

I would agree with that. what you gotta realize is that everyone has their preference/bias. it's just different strokes for different folks.

Top 75. Probably deserves higher. But I just realized this was my favorite work by them like a year ago...lol. Live & Let Die was my favorite before, but I started playing this one more and got hooked on it. It may rise over time.....
