Well, it feels good to finally have a personal classic of 2010. Been playing this album non-stop in all my stereos for nearly 2 weeks. Still hasn't left the car yet. It is Minneapolis hip-hop, so some will probably dismiss it immediately knowing who I am (even though Bro Ali is the only MN rapper I really praised heavily in all of '09). The rappers Filth Phantom and Sean Anonymous are dope rappers and work great together. DJ Name tears the cuts up nicely and producer Dimitry Killstorm's beats are tasty all the way through with a very professional sound. Still not a cut I don't like after about 20 listens. Dudes have been working at it for about 6 years and are apart of the local 9-rapper collective Death Ray Scientific (who also put out a dope fuckin' album in '07, but that's for another day).
My verdict? 4.5 stars (for now).
Here's one of my favorite cuts they had on Youtube...
Shit man, I don't know. I don't understand. 5th Element has it...they had like 5 copies on the rack. But it's not on their site. Same with Cheapo, Down In The Valley...WTF? Wanna link?

Nah, I'll just wait until he sells it on his site, if he ever does.

I would avoid Megaupload guys, a couple of weeks ago I got some nasty malware from the site. Took me about 6 hours to clean the shit out of my computer. Stick to mediafire, and rapidshare if you are desperate.

Well, to explain the world wide web to you simpletons... the virus or malware will actually be in either the file you are downloading or in some link or page from some ad that pops up while you are downloading.
Though to be honest, when clicking directly through either MU or RS I have never been linked to any malware ads - or ads rarely - sometimes MU pops one up.
I have never gotten a bad file or virus from anything either... but I check that shit. That's the key. Check your files, those are the ones that get you.

When it comes to files, I'm meticulous. I run three different scans and look for hidden files/folders myself. The virus I got was from a website that popped up while I was using Megaupload. Normally the sites that pop up are harmless but this time it was pretty brutal. I guess I'm just not very lucky.

I thought that much was common knowledge...
The malware I got came from a pop-up. I think that's the only way I ever got malware. The program MalwareBytes is the cure...btw.

I looked again. No hard copies anywhere online. Maybe I'll pick up a copy at my local spot next time I head down there.
Did you check Facebook? Apparently you need an account to view their page, and I don't have an account. They may be selling it there since nobody cares about Myspace anymore.
The fact this ain't sold nowhere keeps me from wanting to peep the youtube link.

Because you think you may like it and want to buy a hard copy? I wouldn't be too worried since our tastes don't exactly match up. I will say the album has a bit more dark and aggressive feel than some of the MN hip-hop I've big upped in the past. In that respect, I think you may like it, but again...
Either way, everyone I've played it for has dug it and one of my friends went out and bought the CD (easier for him since he lives 5 blocks away from a store that sells the physical CD). I'm perfectly content with it being a local gem. Still my favorite piece of work in 2010...far and away.
