this is tough, there all dope, but it comes down to De La and BD for me

i think im gonna go with Grind Date by a hair, that album has had a long time to sit with me over the years, whereas BD is still relatively new to me compared to De La and even F & L

The Grind Date= way overrated. I do think GD is one of De La's best sounding albums no doubt but they must have set the discog bar pretty average for this one to be held in such high regards.

C'Mon Son! GTFOH with that bullshit.

De La has anywhere between 2-4 classics and Grind Date can be considered one of them. You're clearly not a De La fan, that's the only reason why someone would say that. Even objectively I can't see less than 4.5 stars for that album.
