| What's Wrong With Bill? 4 stars The beats haven't held up so well over time. Good lyrics over a range of topics. No really bad tracks, a couple standouts.
Sabacolypse: 3 stars The bangers on this are real good. Quite a bit of this album is throwaway.
Art of Dying: 2 stars Straight poop. 2 songs that are pretty badass, the rest is unlistenable. Goretex always impressed me as the most skilled emcee in this clique. Until I heard this.
I'm A Goon: 4 stars A Coka Nostra mix tape billed to Ill Bill. Just nasty, my favorite of all of these.
Black Metal: 3 stars I could actually give this less, but it wasn't terrible, just boring. I'll give it The benefit of the doubt, maybe I just don't get it.
Hour of Reprisal: 4 stars Blew my mind when I first heard it. "Epic", I believe was the term I used. I just haven't found myself going back to it too often. It plays best as an entire album.
Better than all of these: Slaine: White Man Is The Devil Vol 2, Citizen Caine
As good as any of these: Q-Unique: Vengeance Is Mine
Not mentioned: Sabac did some shit in 08 that I never got around to. I think people liked it, though. | |

| Ill Bill: Is The Future! Vol 1-"Mixtape", but there's some fresh material and his singles (The Name's Bill prod by Alchemist, God Is An Athiest prd by El-P, Gangster Rap, How To Kill A Cop) Overall, 3 stars.
Ill Bill: Is The Future! Vol 2-"Mixtape" but almost all original material. Dope guests, solid beats. 3.5
Ill Bill: Howie Made Me Do it- Mixtape. By far the worst of the bunch IMO
Ill Bill: Black Metal-"Mixtape" of all collabos. Only one re-used beat and it was pretty forgivable IMO. 4 stars, maybe better. DOPE
Ill Bill: The Early Years-Okay, so he raps like a person on Psychopathic Records on this (IE: over the top horrorcore lyrics and voice to match) and says the n-word. There's some decent stuff on here, but overall it's unlistenable IMO. Ill Bill: What's Wrong With Bill-4.5 Stars, personal classic IMO.
Ill Bill: Hour Of Reprisal-4.75 stars, nothing really wrong with this album IMO except one or two guests that were just unnecessary
Goretex: Art Of Dying-4 stars, Gore was at his druggiest on this, so while it features some of his craziest lyrics and flows, it also features some lazy lyrics and flows. Overall, the beats are dope and Goretex ranges from outstanding to average mc.
Sabac: Sabacolypse-4.5 stars. yes, there's some filler skits, but overall this is a dope album with good messages. I still play it.
Sabac: The Ritual-4.5 stars. Dope shit, again. No Necro beats, so if you're not a fan no worries here. Again, dope beats and good messages but some of the guests miss their mark on this one. Dope cd, though.
Circle Of Tyrants (Bill, Necro, Hyde and Goretex)-3.5 stars. This is straight horrorcore rap over Necro beats with some hard rock shit thrown in the mix. For every "Four Horsemen" there's a wack motley crue riff that just sucks.
La Coka Nostra: Brand You Can Trust-5 stars. This album is incredible and I love every song. Some people don't care for the Sick Jacken appearances but that's whatever. I dig the guy's music. This is banging, but again, there is some rock elements here, AND it features Everlast and Danny Boy rapping...so take that as you will.
Slaine's White Man Is The Devil Vol 2 is a personal classic to me, and Q Unique is a 4.5 album IMO.
Q Unique is dropping Between Heaven & Hell this summer, Bill is coming out with AT LEAST Kill Devil Hills (in August) and Heavy Metal Kings (with Vinnie Paz, this fall) and possibly some other stuff. Sabac will drop the sophomore Revolution of the Mind album (he's not on the first album, but he'll be on most songs on the new one) this summer/fall. Goretex has recorded a TON of stuff on his myspace but has yet to sign a deal for his new "Supercoven" solo project. Dj Eclipse is expected to do a comp at some point in the future (his beats are hella under-rated, check out the stuff he did for the Green mixtape) but I have no clue where/when. |

| I really don't like Necro. I like the emcees and a few of his tracks aren't bad. I've never understood why some people think he's a talented producer. I'm not trying to knock anyone's taste, just putting my ratings into perspective. Keep in mind, I actually like some of these quite a bit. | |

| I dig Ill Bill - Hour of Reprisal - but I will say I find myself reaching for it less and less as time passes. |

| Some of you are pretty big fans huh
Both Ill Bill records, La Coka Nostra, Q-Unique were all around the 4 - 4.5 mark for me
I have had Slaine - White Man Is The Devil Vol.1 for a month or two but it's still in the plastic, too much to listen to at the moment
I might grab that sabac and goretex albums
Here are my Necro Ratings
As a rapper - 0.5/5 As a person - 0/5 As a producer - 3.5/5
His beats aren't amazing but he gets the job done, The worst thing is they tend to all sound the same. It works better when his beats are broken up with a few other producers like on the first non phixion joint |
