Dude, you've never heard The Fix in it's entirety?? You need to spin that album sometime if you own it, and if you don't then cop it ASAP. It's a classic in every sense of the word, and my personal fav from Face, and most others would say it's no worse than 4th.

Haven't gotten into Face's solo career as much as the Geto Boys catalog. I own a few and have heard most of his albums, but I only heard The Fix a couple times, hence the comment.

Fucking loved every track. Fantastic album. In fact, the group of 5-6 people I played it for during a smoke session all really liked it.

Everything she touches is perfect. You need "The Way I See It" from Raphael Saadiq, too.

Don't miss her live, either. Even more amazing than you'd expect.

First of all, Face's solo material is definitely better than The Geto Boys discog IMO. Second of all, I'm not sure you'd like The Fix as much as others considering the Kanye beats, the Neptunes beat, The Jay-Z featyre, the Kelly Rowland feature, and the Faith Evans feature. I personally like them, but it doesn't really seem like your cup of tea.

Some Saadiq isn't necessarily going to suffice. "The Way I See It" is throwback on par with Dap-Kings. The rest of his shit is good, but garden variety radio r&b. A little better, I guess.

100 Days is my next favorite from Sharon Jones. The new one doesn't quite bring the funk. It's excellent, like I said. Just more mellow.

Supreme Clientele is classic, but The Fix wins here.

Mr. Scarface Is Back & The Diary are the 2 I listen to most from Face. But I do tend to throw the Geto Boys on more. That said, I don't to them as much as a lot of my other southern stuff.
