Just two songs in but the Distant Relatives sounds dope so far. If these are their online prices, they will honor these prices in the store as well.

| Distant Relatives is nothing short of perfect. I could find no glaring faults in Reflection Eternal on first glance, either. | |

Good to hear that you and SRP like Distant Relatives. I was worried at first cause N3R0 wasn't crazy about it.

| I wouldn't worry too much. N3R0's down with Sage & Necro. Which is fine. That's his thing. It just suggests some fundamental differences regarding what he expects from his entertainment. | |

| I haven't checked out any of the Reflection Eternals but I'll probably peep the second one. If its good like Kid Joe says it might be an incentive to peep the 1st one. | |

I've like a lot of the Hi-Tek beats I've heard, Talib just hasn't been my cup of tea from what I've heard.

| Yeah, i'll be picking them up during lunch too. Also, i'm not too familiar with Damien Marley, and i was thinking about picking up Welcome To Jamrock since i am familiar with the Welcome to Jamrock single and Road To Zion. Is this the best place to start? | |

Good to hear that you and SRP like Distant Relatives. Co-Sign, especially Pedro. I had an off day at work because of the weather and picked up Distant Relatives and Reflection Eternal. I'm spinning DR as I type this and so far it's dope. |

Those aren't my favorite mc's by any means, but thanks for the appreciation of diversity on the forum. |

| Well, it seems like you dig them more than Nas?
Regardless, you get what I'm saying. It's definitely all about the different points of view. You just gotta take everyone's preferences into account when you check their reviews.
On that note... FUCK an East coast hater!!!
This RE album is at least as good as Distant Relatives. No joke. The hook on Midnight Hour, alone, will melt your fucking speakers!

| I co-sign Parker, Distant Relatives is BANGIN!!! I have it at about 4.25-4.5 stars after the first spin. I'm about to spin RE now. |

| No I was being sincere. And I'm not REALLY an east coast hater, but I do play up the stereotype I've seem to been branded with on this forum. I like Nas, but this release wasn't "it" for me. And, I'm not much of a Talib fan. I only own Quality, but had Black Star and the first Reflection Eternal at one point.
Maybe if Nas had Necro produce an album I'd dig it? |

That's as good a place to start with Damian as any, if you dig the production and style on DR then you will dig it. If you want one of the dopest albums period you should find Buju Banton's Til Shiloh... that album is perfection. |

Those fools at FYE didn't have Reflection Eternal, but they had Guilty Simpson and Bizarre.

yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I was just surprised they had those two cd's, but they didn't have RE.

| I think I'm done with Talib, after this latest. Maybe if he does another short project, like Liberation, but he just doesn't have it for a full album anymore. Haven't decided on Nas or Sage, can't tell if they'll have replay value for me. | |

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, but am also afraid it will be dwarfed by the incredible masterpiece Shad just dropped, then ignored for a while.... It's the only album I want to listen to lately. Nothing else is cutting it.

Nothing else is cutting it. LOL! Do you already have your copy of TSOL? How much did you pay? The CD doesn't come out until next Tuesday I believe. I pre-ordered 2 copies. $11 each on Amazon Canada, and about $12 shipping...pretty steep, which is why it I'm glad a buddy (also a Shad fan) wanted a copy too, to make it worth the shipping. I've been bumping the leak non-stop. I doubt you'll like it as much as me, but you should definitely give it a good listen. You'll probably see why I like it so much, since you basically know what I like...
