Far and away, this is Bizarre's best album. That might not be saying much to a lot of people out there, but peep game, kids. This is Bizarre's fourth solo outing (Attack of The Weirdos, Hannicap Circus, Bleu Cheese & Coney Island, and now Live), and that puts him at a close second to Eminem in terms of D-12 member with the most solo material. Bizarre has a sizable cult following, and is frequently seen following the word "featuring" on underground album releases. Sure, Bizarre has a lost a step lyrically since most of you first heard him on D-12's "Get Back" on Tony Touch's Piece Maker album. This isn't the same Bizarre using punchlines and polysyllabic rhyme schemes, this is Bizzy doing what he does best: making dark music, and putting the overall sound above individual achievement. The beats bang, and Bizarre does what he does. Dude knows when to turn it on ("Warning") and when to just keep it simple (the lead single "Believer", which if you haven't heard, is definitely worth peeping). Dude knows where his bread gets buttered, and his duets (3 of them) with King Gordy prove he can kick horrorcore shit with the best of them. Quit hating and give dude a chance.
4 stars, maybe more.
