| There really seems to not be any more albums with a chance of taking The Fix out. So I will now nominate the albums with the longest streaks for one big bash. This poll will run for 2 days. |

| Stillmatic wins, and would win for me even if Blueprint was up there.
And to Slang, Supreme Clientele lost to the Fix even with your absentee vote. So if that couldn't beat The Fix, those albums wouldn't have either. |

| hmm I really need to think about this pick because I feel a southern artist should win this award (album of 00's), so it would be between The Fix and Stillmatic from this list and I'm not sure which way I want to go yet!

? Ummm Terry I really want to vote for Stillmatic as I honestly think that is the better album BUT since the south has controlled the 00's for the most part then I feel an artist from there should win the album of the year for the 00's...which would bring me to The Fix...thats what the HMMMMM????? is for got it cheese, bacon and biscuits??? sometimes we all need a little clarity huh??

| thats true Tranny but I'm trying to be fair and objective as well when I'm voting..if an east coast artist won album of the year for the 00's that would just seem a little odd to me man
now for album of the year for the 80's and 90's then thats different but 00's was owned by the South (hence the weakest decade in hip-hop history) but at least a credible southern artist with a very bangin album and whom I respect alot is left standing at the end of this and thats where my dilemma lies...because I love Stillmatic by Nas...shit The Lost Tapes would have a good chance of being voted on by me to if it was here.....
U know what I just voted for The Fix...fugg it!

And man you really are a underground head. I do like Below The Heavens. But it has dropped from the 5 star mark since it's release IMO. I give it 4.5 stars. I can't knowingly give it "album of 2000s". lol Edit: I should have said "personal" classic. I can see a couple being objective classics.

I guess...none of these albums really do a ton for me... To me, the 2000s are ALL about the underground. If it were the 90s, it'd be completely different.

| That's a lame stance to take Pounds, even if you don't feel that any of the albums above are album of the decade, pick the one you like best out of the bunch.
While I do see some classics on that list and disagree with you on that front, I do agree that the 2000's were largely about the underground, which is why it's the WEAKEST decade. |

Normally I can understand other's opinions but I'm seriously struggling to see how anybody who has listened to Be and Madvillainy would prefer Be. Words that pop into my mind when I think of Be: boring, underwhelming, pop crossover attempt. Words that come into my mind when I think of Madvillainy: interesting, experimental, classic. You guys might want to spin Madvillainy again. Either you guys hate MF Doom and Madlib, or you are Common dickriders.
