Indeed, it's numero uno for me. The RAL sound from 96-97 is money in the bank IMO. Still>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The World is a Ghetto>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Open Minded>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> | |

Scarface as a SOLO artist is in my top 20 emcees of all-time...I love a bunch of his SOLO works...I think as an artist he has mainly repped hip-hop the right way consistently..... but I have NEVER been able to fuck with The Geto Boys as a group...EVER..this is my own personal opinion of them because I know more than a few heads who bump their shit alot...but Willie "Damn" D and Bushwick Bill are completely wack to me...(Kev I apologize in advance man) but he knows how I feel regarding those two already...never in any other group have I ever seen such a major drop-off in talent levels as I have seen with this one...it's Scarface and those 2 other bums as far as I'm concerned man...this is why The Geto Boys as a GROUP don't enter my top 100 at all...but Scarface as a SOLO artist makes a bunch of appearances.....

| I don't really disagree Powell, but only on Willie D's solo albums. Willie D in small doses is tolerable to dope, and i think he's at his best on this album and Grip It! That's just my opinion though. | |

And I can see that. I will even admit that Wiliie D on the solo tip is a accquried taste but lyrically he kills those two albums Terry mentioned. I get Willie D and I think he's one of the best lyricists in hip hop fa real but some can't see past his loud delivery and simple rhyme cadence. |
