The only album I have/heard from Uncle Kracker is Double Wide. Which reminds me of Cocky (Kid Rock album). Some singing, some rapping and some meshed up in one song. I'd say he's hip-hop because of his origin. He did freestyle rap battles in his teens and was a DJ...then ventured off into mixing those elements in rock, then country.

I like a few songs by Kracker, but the few that I know, I wouldn't consider hip hop, more of a retro classic southern rock.

LOL, he's a little bit of both. But peep his first album, it's 90% hip hop and really dope IMO.
