| Considering you're a midwest novice, i understand your position, but there's a reason there are 4 neither votes. Not to mention SRP and N3R0 haven't voted yet so we both know that will jump to 6 neither votes. | |

yeah, i think is way overrated, but he's got skills.. I just think his skills are a dime a dozen on the underground circuit. He just sticks out more cause he's a mainstream MC.

I don't hate the Midwest i'm just being realistic and given my opinion at the sametime. I have listened to a good amount of midwest music, as much as you?...nope and i'm not trying to act like I have. But I know what I like and The Cool while not a classic album or anything was one of the best I heard from this high quality lacking region. There is a ton of quanity in the midwest and props to you, Link, and Joe for diggin in the crates for every midwest rapper that exist but I have no passion or motivation to do the same. I do feel the midwest is a region that is very under appreciated but let's not try to overrate it either. Quality wise and classic wise it can't touch the other 3 regions speaking for myself of course. |

lmao... One Be Lo is boring and average lyrically, but Lupe is some microphone killa, huh? Yep. No song by One Be Lo imo is on the level of the storytelling and messages Lupe spits. His concepts and rhyme cadence is betta than his also. One Be Lo is no slouch on the mic I know that even if I do not dig the album. But i'll take Lupe anyday his albums just have way betta production and hooks to me also. |

| I'm not sure the lashing at KRob is necessary here. I dig plenty of albums from the midwest but looking at it objectively, you have to admit that the midwest has the least number of quality albums of any region. That's not bashing, that's reality. I don't agree that there's not 100 dope midwest albums, but when you compare the midwest to the East, West, and South, they come up a little short.
On the other hand I would say that the Midwest has been on a tear the last 6-8 years and is IMO becoming more relevant than the South or West regions as far as right now is concerned.
