Well I agree with him. I have 4Life at 5.0 and SOC at 4.5-4.75.

Well I agree with him. I have 4Life at 5.0 and SOC at 4.5-4.75.

Wow KRob, I respect your opinion and all, but 4Life over SOC, that's a semi shock to me. Both are classics, however, in no way is 4Life the better album, and with Cube's influence all over SOC, come on now. The production may be a little more polished on 4Life, but overall, SOC is superior.

Easy top 25, SOC is the better album but i dig Efil4Zaggin more as well, shock value i guess and the start of dre's chronic sound

Do you have the original version of 4Life released in 91 or the remastered version with the 100 Miles And Runnin EP?

Ah....no. And yes I know the meaning of cult status and yes it seems like an oxymoran with what i'm about to say. But I meant the mass appeal of this album has turned this into an all time fav with a strong following. Cult like....is that better?

This album is one of the most recognized and critically acclaimed rap albums of all time by the mass media. It is probably one of a handful of rap albums that would show up in a mass media outlet's list of top 500 albums of all time. Im not understanding how its cult like at all. If anything efil4zaggiN is the album that has the strong cult following since there is a select group of people that hold that album in higher regard for various reasons (i.e. it has more of a cult following than SOC).

Example - This album would be in my Top 10 (maybe even Top 5) for West Coast, but might not rate so high overall. Not sure if that's what was intended with this concept, and if so...pay no attention to all that I just said. And I don't sit down and actually list albums, so I'll just say:
