Royce Da 5'9" - Death is Certain

I have a weird relationship with this cd. When it first dropped I swore by it but over time I do not reach for it anymore. But its a decent album just a tad boring. But just for that banger Hip Hop this gets top 50 from me.

Love this album! Top 25.

Well, this may suprise most of you, but I haven't heard any of Royce's solo albums. Recommendations?

I'll give this album Top 50, while I think it's overrated (and completely trumped by Street Hop) there aren't 50 midwestern albums better objectively.

What's about Independence Day and Rock City 2.0?

Independent's Day is definitery his worst album. A bunch of skip tracks, and you can tell he was looking for exposure with it. A couple of really good tracks, though.

Rock City is dope, but it's not one of his better albums. It does have 'Boom', though.

I've heard about his joints with Premier.

Rock City 2.0 is my favorite Royce album followed closely by Death is Certain...
