| Just when you thought Death Row was capable of releasing quality material from their vaults...no, wait. Uh, okay. Just when you thought everything Snoop touched was dope...nah, that's not right. Just when...ah fuck it. Do I really need to go into this? Scrap Cold 187um beats with lazy Snoop flows (and let's face it, dude's rhymes were never anything special to begin with) without Dre's perfectionism to find ways to make it all work? I really shoulda passed... |

| You can take one look at the cover and see this was nothing more than a good ol' fashioned Suge Knight cash in. Snoop dressed in red, the ominous title, etc...
I didn't even download this one. lol | |

| OK, I got a question for you. You told KJ that The lost Tapes wasn't an album cause it was a collection of songs. This is also a collection of songs. Should this be eligible for Wack "album" of the day? Maybe you could start a thread for wack compilation of the day. | |

Here's the difference: I don't count this as apart of Snoop's discog, it wouldn't count against him. If KJ was making a classic album of the day thread, I wouldn't care because Lost Tapes IS a classic cd IMO. However, I don't think the artist should take credit for making dope comps, Greatest Hits, Features albums, etc. because they're not representations of the artists ability to create a classic piece of art in an alloted time. Period. I make that distinction simply because you might see a soundtrack in here, and I wouldn't count soundtracks as part of any one person's discog (save ones like Purple Rain...if you see where I'm going). Simply put, I'm using album as a much broader term, and generalizing, whereas that discussion was about the greatest discogrophies of all time, and I wouldn't count one with an asterisk next to it. |

| Yeah I remember thinking out getting this album when it 1st dropped and never hearing it until like 2-3 yrs later. Whack is a great word to describe it. |
