Borderline Top 75, so not Top 50.
Good to see it nominated though. I thought it might be one of those that just slipped through the cracks and went unnoticed.

nah, he's said before he's not opposed to downloading. He just won't DL an album that is pricey because he may like it, and he will want the physical copy. I can't say i blame him.

But there's no point in feenin for a physical copy of an album that can't be attained for a reasonable price, no matter how dope it is.

Yeah, but why would you pay for the download? If you can get it for free, and you aren't going to get a physical, why spend the money? Unless you just wanted the artwork and ish... Which you can download anyway...

My rules have become if I am directly benefitting the album I am willing to let go of some change for something, but not itunes and shit like that... seems pointless to me. I pay itunes 9.99 for something... after they take their cut, the label takes their cut, and then what? Does the artist even get 1 dollar from it?

I can blame you. Your OCD and penny pinching isn't an excuse to pine for hip hop albums. See, just because you haven't heard it, doesn't mean you don't WANT to hear it. This is just ridiculous logic. If Illmatic were OOP and hella expensive would anybody be telling you it's ok for you to not listen to it? NO. So how do you know any album you don't listen to isn't AS dope or even BETTER? You don't. So it's ridiculous.

Again with baseless assumptions. TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK I SAID I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT?????? There's a reason why I said too expensive and shook my head, it's because I WANT THIS FUCKING ALBUM BUT IT'S TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE! And if Illmatic were expensive, I would still WANT the album. Plain and simple. That should be easy to understand right? Well maybe not, because you are becoming the new KJ on here so it'll probably go right past your head.

Again, that was exactly what I said. You want to hear it. So why pine for an album you can hear? That's what I JUST said. Moronic.

Because that's my "train of thought". Don't agree, fine. I'm not expecting you to agree with me. I don't like listening to albums that are too expensive to buy. That's it. Nothing more to it. I don't know why I'm defending myself over something so minor.

Damn! This a great album. I got it on cassette. A mint copy too. Play it quite often. Only got it a few years ago, but I think I'd have to give it top 50. Classic.
Great pick Slang...
