Good number of classics on this one.

Top 50 for me. It is probably their 3rd best ahead of We Can't Be Stopped.

I know and I agree, but Powell hates anything GB related because it involves either Willie or Bushwick.

I see what you mean KJ. Although I can tolerate Willie D, Til Death Do My Part was my fav since he was absent from the disc. I am still a Geto Boys fan, but that's primarily because of Face.

Well it's obvious that Face is the best MC in the group, but my fav is Grip It! On That Other Level. Willie holds his own on that disc. He's not a lyrical assassin, but he sounds dope rhyming with GB's and on those beats.

My favorite GB album is We Can't Be Stopped, and although I don't own and never heard any of Willie D solo albums, he did hold his own alongside Face and Bill, so I agree with that.

Willie D has held his own on every GB album and imo has bested Face on two of thier albums. Grip It! and The Foundation was the Wille D show.

Willie D hasn't bested Face on anything Kev, but that's just my opinion. I respect Willie D for what he has down for the South, don't get me wrong but I have never really been able to get into him....too much yelling probably

Well, a few things:

Willie D is not even the best emcee in his own group.

Chuck D has a crisper, smoother flow than Willie D.

Chuck D has a more distinct voice than Willie D.

Chuck D has a longer, better career than Willie D.

I mean on the solo tip Willie D has a better solo discog, but Chuck only has one CD really. What chuck did with PE compared to what Willie did with Geto boys? No comparison in my opinion.

I'm not comparing legacy's. And I knew that was going to be the focal point of the problem with me saying what I said. And Chuck D is the only emcee in his grp so go figure with that one. And look at the comp Willie D had in his group with Scarface. Chuck had it pretty easy and was going to shine regardless. Willie D is a way more diverse rapper than Chuck D and has a unique delivery of his on. You can clearly understand what Will is saying and sometimes Chuck D makes no sense.

I have never had an issue understanding Chuck D. Just skills wise Willie D is an inferior emcee. I admire his passion, his topics, I like the dude a lot, but I just don't think as a rapper he can touch Chuck.

ive never had an issue understanding Chuck D, and clarity is important to me too but the way you typed it made it sound like you were "too slow" to understand and i was just fuckin with you but no one got it...

Sorry Kev, but Willie ain't nowhere near as good as Chuck D. Not hatin on him, but Chuck D is a legendary MC and GOAT candidate. Willie D is like Marty Jannetty to Chuck D's (and Scarface's) Shawn Michaels. There's no comparision.
