Rather than we start a new thread for every random CD most people never heard, I figure a sticky may work, maybe not. Either way here goes.
My first question is, anyone heard Senim Silla's Piece or Peace?

Waterworld Too is fucking dynamite. I like it better than anything Binary Star or either member has dropped.

Just to clarify, this is a thread for anyone to post in if they are curious about a random CD and want to ask people's thoughts on it.

I wasn't expecting it to be greater than what I consider his best out of what I've already heard, just curious if it was worth my time. And according to you, Norf, and indirectly Ex, it is. I'll be getting it soon.

Anybody have any thoughts on Inspectah Deck - Manifesto?
I was planning on ordering it, but don't want to end up with a dud.

I enjoyed manifesto alot, as did most people I talked to about it. Initially I had it around 4-4.25 stars... it might have fallen slightly with time as I have not gone back to it as often, but it definitely has some real dope songs and is up there in Deck's catalog. There is some smooth or commercial sounding stuff on it, but I enjoy it.

Good. So I'm assuming you think it's better than Resident Patient? That was my biggest concern, ending up with another one of those.

I like Manifesto a lot, but i agree it has dropped from my initial rating. I've got it at a solid 4 stars. It's better than Resident Patient IMO.

Wasn't feelin' "Manifesto" too much myself...it's real solid but nothing too distinctive and I didn't find any replay value. Real predictable LP.

So I'm the only one who has heard this? I dig it. It is a compilation. If you are looking for new Senim Silla songs, I think there's only one or two new one's you may not have heard, other than that, you've heard the others from his/Binary Star's other albums. It's actually a mix by DJ Bet, and includes another rapper on the album named Malaki...on 6 of the tracks. That dude is tight IMO. I guess I'd say somewhere in 3.75 or 4 star range.

You're not alone Wanduras, I don't think many people have heard this. It's from the mid 90's when all the Bone Thugs clones like 3 Memphis Kniccas were coming out.

I really like it musically and the whole mood of the album, it's a chill somber mood music album. Kid Cudi isn't some great rapper but this cd has really grown on me, I wouldn't rate it above 4 stars necessarily but it's one of those cds I can listen to over and over

I love the Cudi cd. It is true that he is not a great rapper, but the album is one of those where every song sounds better in the context of the album (other than make her say which sucks) and it was potentially my favorite album from last year. Nobody likes it nearly as much as me I know, but it is definitely a really good album.
The hi-tek album is alright. It is my least favorite in the hi-teknology series. I think 2 is the best, then the first then the 3rd. The beats are good, but the rappers just don't bring it the way they did on the other. It is not something I listen to very often, cause I would always rather put in the other ones first.

Haven't heard the album, but I do agree that Secret Wars (both parts) is dope.
