because I know damn well you don't mean 1990-1996 right Kev?? Maybe...i'll have to do some research or wait until we get deeper into the 00's. I know I have some fav yrs from this decade I may take over a few in the 90's. 97-98 would be to easy. |

| Stillmatic Blueprint Realness Until the End of Time Anghellic
Very weak year except for the top 4.
It has been brought to my attention Anghellic was released in 2001. That easily replaces Word of Mouf. |

I agree with what everyone else has been telling you. But, if you are genuinely curious, they have several songs on youtube that you could peep. Edit: Personally, I'm a big fan. Have been since I heard their song Counterparts (with Dilated Peoples) on the 2001: A Rhyme Odyssey CD I bought. Made me check out their Balance album, and I've been hooked since. But, as you can see, I don't share the same taste as everyone else. I'd recommend peeping songs on youtube, and if you like, then maybe buy (or download) an album and go from there.

There's a reason for that dude, haha. Yep, and that reason is that Pedro ain't here. He's the only one that would vote for that album. |

| I just counted, and you have 32 HIP HOP albums you bought released in 2010 (assuming you bought everything on your list). I think I have 25 on my list, with 6 or 7 pre-orders out. So you might have one more than me. If I really need to upload pics, I will find a way to do that. |

| Not including the Gorillaz, Dutch and like 6 other non hip hop albums. My 9th/Murs and Kidz in the Hall are in my car. I have the Sage, but it's deep in my collection, that album sucks. I pre-ordered Bizzy, waiting for my Shad to come in the mail. I didn't include re-releases and reissues. If you want me to include those albums stated above, I'll show it. Now stop with the cheap talk man. | |

| Can't say 2001 holds any album I truly feel is worthy of my personal classic tag. The first 2 albums are one's I would have considered 5 stars and still do in many ways, but they have not held constant replay value since I purchased them....
In order:
1. Aesop Rock "Labor Days" (5 stars) 2. Sixtoo "Songs I Hate (And Other People Moments)" (5stars) 3. Living Legends "Almost Famous" 4. The Coup "Party Music" 5. Eyedea & Abilities "First Born"

Nah, I've flip flopped on that one from time to time. It's worthy, but I actually have become more fond of The True Meaning over the years. That one, I would give 5 stars........damn, I forgot to include that one in my 2002 list too. lol
